Bought a 2023 Mojave at 15% off MSRP last Summer largely due to Ben's test reviews. This is my 5th 4wd truck. This is not your dad's 90's Jeep! I'm still amazed how smooth it is on and off-road. I'm a hunter so I may have more off-road miles than the average owner. There is no need to install bigger wheels and tires unless you do hardcore off-roading or want the look. If you haven't driven one it's difficult to explain how superior the Gladiator is compared to the competition.
Have the 2022 Rubicon with the “holy grail” 6-spd manual. It has two options 1.) Off Rod tires and 2.) Trailer Hitch package. It cost just under 45k. It’s the perfect tow vehicle, hauls people, pups and bicycles, bbq. Easy to tow and fully capable once you arrive at the campsite 🏕️.
Stellantis needs to get these down in the 40's. I live in a outdoor mountain town mecca of 100,000 people where these should be flying off the shelf. However, our local CJDR dealer has 47 currently in stock mostly 2023's.
Great Report! However These Vehicles Are Not 'Affordable' Both Local Jeep Dealers In My Area Are Loaded With Inventory! Average Person Can't Afford These! I Will Now Go Outside And Hug My Paid For 15' Outback! Thanks For Your Report Ben Always Enjoy Them.
The base Gladiator has Dana 44 axles while the base Wrangler has the weaker Dana 35 axles Just because of this I would take the base Gladiator all day long.
Something just discovered. MANY dealers or at least sales people do NOT know this. You can NO LONGER ORDER selec trac FULL TIME four wheel drive OR Rock Track FULL TIME four wheel drive (Rubicons) EXCEPT on X models on the dealers order software, never could on the public build site. You might be able to get someone to notice if you mention it behind the scenes or up front. On Gladiators, Jeep has made improvements for 2024 lowering base MSRP's and adding some features... But, its other things like what I'm talking about that's a problem. I'm so glad I got a 2023 WITH Selec Trac full time 4WD AND limited slip. I know a few people scouring for 23's with them at this point, very angry as they don't want X versions or can't afford them.
They charge $555.00 for that insulation that probably would go for less than $70 retail.... The price charged for everything on a Jeep really dulls the experience for me.
@@JTcampmichiganTell me about it. They took a fun, adventure, carefree vehicle and turned it into a luxury vehicle where everything is extra. Not just nickels and dimes, but $5 and $10 bills.
Work at a Jeep dealer, we only have like 4 in stock cuz it’s not very popular, you would be amazed tho how little profit is in the cars, most of the new vehicles make 500-1500 total profit for the dealer and there has to be flat rate commissions of 250$ as a minimum you can get and you usually get only that selling one cuz the margins are so tiny. People think dealers are ripping them off but in reality the manufacturers are ripping the dealers off 😂
@@hyroglifixxx yup! I’m in Houston as well You can get a sport at mac Haik on i10 for $34-$35 Or a rubicon for $38. You gotta buy their bullshit addons, and finance with them. But that is the price
Bro can u please review the Mazda cx5 or cx 50 or both...really looking at one of these for the wife. Thanks. Great videos as well keep it up. Have a good day
Gladiator is a classic example of enthusiasts brow-beating an OEM into making a product that ultimately fails. This is a fantastic midsize truck and no one buys it. More capable than Tacoma. Removable tip and doors.
Please no one pay near sticker for these. I’m seeing guys on the Gladiator forum routinely getting between $10k-18k off MSRP. Dealers can’t sell them fast enough lol
All the stellantis stuff is like that. Ford does the same thing. They know someone will buy the high price but dealers and the brand routinely have pretty big markdowns throughout the year with easy to get incentives. It is especially appealing for trucks since you can still get them at normal prices if you are willing to wait a bit.
Because this is a 24 they don’t have the markdown. I just bought a fully loaded 2023 rubicon gladiator and out the door I had 23,000 off the msrp, the 2024 has to be the worst deal in the world right now. Basically 20k more than the 2023 and all you get is power seats and the larger screen.
Unless these are under 30k they are not affordable. With how much jeep has raised the msrp on their vehicles the last few years they've gotten to complacent charging asinine prices for their unreliable crap.
62k isn’t affordable. That Rubicon truck shouldn’t be any higher than about 40-45k. I’ve always loved the Gladiator. When I get one I’ll buy it used, preferably in a diesel. Which they no longer offer I believe. Heck, in 2016 you could get a F-450 King Ranch for around 65k.
Gladiator was a huge opportunity for Jeep and they botched it. All they had to do was offer the 5.7 Hemi and they would have sold every one they could build. No larger bed option, small payload, so so V6, and Stellantis price gouging on top of that. Currently you can get 2023 Rubicons like this for 46k. Why would you pay 60k for a new grille and larger screen ? SMH
60k isn’t to bad for this vehicle considering all the off road equipment you get compared to other cars in its class. How little do you think you pay for a new truck 15k ? Like get real or get more money
61k is not “affordable”. This is why Jeep is dying. Who can afford to buy this vehicle? Most people can only (barely) afford to lease it. And nobody is going to put mods on a leased vehicle. And modifying your Jeep is 90% of the fun. I loved my Jeeps and it’s sad that I won’t be able to afford to get another one.
The majority of people in the country make around 52k or less. You really think the majority of people can afford a car that costs over $50,000? You insult me, and you insult working people.
Either Ben has lost touch with reality or he’s making millions because $62K is not affordable for majority of people 😂
Haven’t rubicon’s always been expensive… that’s like the top most offroady trim right. If so it’s at least more affordable than all its competition.
He's a salesman through and through
62k is ridiculous for any gladiator unless it had a V8...maybe
There are still some 2023’s Gladatior’s at 15% off MSRP.

They should include 5 replacement windshields to get you through the first year.

A sad state of affairs, but I would have to agree that this truck is “reasonably” priced considering the alternatives in that price range.
