Imagine having to fight in the mountains, so I'm already tired when I hike normally through the mountains. When I imagine how they attacked a mountain like that with full equipment, it was just brutal.
Yeah, It must have been really strenuous to fight in such terrain, especially for the attacker. Bringing artillery and other heavy equipment up a mountain is a mammoth logistical task.
My gramps who passed in like 97’ was stationed in Italy , no one talks about that the fighting in the mountains of Italy were the craziest harshest fighting in WW2
also southtyrol was involved in the ww1 & ww2. They had a hard time becaus of the italianization (forbidden to speak our language, hidden catacomp school to teach our dialect) all that combined with this horrible war. The Southtyrolean situation goes always under the radar because not many know the backstory and we have to apreciate the courage of Southtyrolean and Italian people at that hard times!
The sound could be a little better but otherwise Isonzo is a really good game. I definitely enjoy it a lot. Good video and it looks much better without hud.
Yes, the explosions and planes sound good, but the weapons themselves aren't that great, but that was also the case with Vderun. If the gameplay is good, I don't really care.
Shouldn´t the sound be the easiest thing to update? I love Isonzo and even though I don´t mind the sounds, everywhere I look people state the dull sounds as a negative so why don´t they update them?
For those who are interested in this game, there's a free expansion coming this month called White War! Isonzo is really fun, I play it regularly. Good video and without a hud its really difficult to master this game xD
Also you can make free private servers and put a random password, copy and paste it. Then boom, you get a singleplayer experience and will still be able to progress 😂
Hope you bring more isonzo, is good that hardcore war game players make a recognition to these ww1 game series, that people make them feel arcady when they arent Nice video.

Servers are still good most of them are 3/4 full and the rest is filled with bots in Isonzo. which aren't bad at all. If you liked Verdun then you will also enjoy Isonzo.
Everyone has a bad day but believe me I have been playing with Tiger for 6 years now and have played many matches with him and sometimes with him in a squad or as his squad leader and I can assure you that my boy Tiger is really, really good. I've had my best matches with him and he never gives up. You can have as much skill as you want if in hardcore games like in Post Scriptum the whole team is bad and you get steam rolled or you don't have a squad leader who sets good rallies, you are lost and even then he never gives up and in the end he is still one of the best even if the team lost.@@Swisshost
It's better than Beyond the Wire in that sense as it has kept a bit more players and also the empty spots in a server are covered by bots. Not ideal since a lot of servers full of human players would be preferable, but it is better than being nearly unplayable due to lack of players.
@@Lord_Baphomet_ I agree 100% playing aggressively is worth it in this game and I like that because I always play aggressively. Sometimes a little too much in Post Scriptum or HLL then I have to become a little more defensive again xD
I have a question is this game and gameplay just like insurgency sandstorm obviously not the weapons and so on but the gameplay looks like insurgency sandstorm just ww1 style
I can't tell you because I haven't played recently, but I was able to find a full server in the middle of the week in the evening without any problems (PC)
i tried to play i think Verdun of this series and hated the gameplay of it. To bad because I love WW1 games and own at least 40+ books on it. It is fun to watch others play though.
Its a shame that once you've played bf1, everything else feels inferior. Games like these, they have all the realistic loadouts and gear ect, just lack the AAA polish and gameplay.
Its just so recycled... Verdun, Tannenberg and Isonzo should be ONE game, the animations are the same terrible once, i hear the SAME sounds and voicelines in all the games, graphics are... Ok?! i guess? Its sad, as i am sure more players would try ONE big polished game, instead of having 3 DLCs that are sold as games
i just picked this game up....and uninstalled it again after about 50 minutes. worst in the series and the clunkiest worst shooter ive played in decades. will never buy anything from this company ever again. heck i feel like a fool for buying this one already...
