29er will fit a 27.5 fork if the tire is under 2.2...anything over and it rubs...it seems the frame will actually fit 29er wheels and with the right fork will be a full 29er
rockshox will not fit for your 27.5 fork to 29 wheels. if you have a fox fork then it can fit, it only have a lil bit of clearance though but still fit. I have a fox 32 fork for 26er and I tried my 27.5 wheel on it and it fits.
Same. I got a new bike there with 27.5s front and rear with a Fox 38 27.5/27.5+ offset of 57mm to 44mm with about 3 to 4 inches of arch clearance with Schwalbe Magic Mary 2.5in. The 29in/27.5+ forks are still a 44mm offset that a 29er is, so I tried my mate's 29er on my front forks and it fit no problem! It left me a bit like, "Hmm, okay," and I still have plenty of clearance with a Magic Mary 29in 2.5. I'm not sure what the tire size limit would be, maybe a 2.6in would be the max I'd run so as not to damage anything or the paint, but yeah, it can be done! I wanted a mullet setup and didn't want to spend another grand on new 29er Fox 38s when I've got brand-new Fox 38 27.5+ at the same max offset of 44mm, so in theory, it should fit with a certain size tire, but 2.6in is the max I would go, and I'd run a couple of volume spacers in there just to keep control of the crown when bottoming out so it doesn't hit the tire, but I haven't even come close to that! A 27.5 will fit a 29er 44mm offset fork with no problem, but they say a 29er will not fit a 27.5/27.5+, but it does!
I have my mullet bike too. 27.5 fork and wheels front 26 rear. Still can't believe you're Filipino! Enjoyed your videos since last year! Ride safe idol.
You could perhaps try running a lower profile 29er tire like maybe a Kenda Small Block but there's no guarantee. Now if your fork is 27.5+ it'll fit. Otherwise, a 9er fork will work on a 27.5 frame. One thing to keep in mind is that if you use a 9er fork and wheel, that'll raise your bottom bracket simply because it's a bigger wheel and it'll also alter the overall handling. Perhaps if you get a shorter travel 9er fork than the travel of your current 27.5 to offset the bigger wheel to match the current front height setup, then in theory there won't be a difference in handling. Curious though if you can post a link of the qr axle converter you purchased, I'm interested in trying it. Thanks man.
Those converters are super awesome!!! No more trying to get adapters for different hubs. I can get any modern boost thru axle wheel set and put it on my boost 141! I got mavic xa pro carbons, slapped that on and good to go... You can put 27.5 on 29er forks lol. Not the other way around, maybe on a 27.5+
I love the Pitch content. It would be interesting to see it as a mullet. I raised the fork travel on Pitch and I really like it a lot and also getting a hope hub laced up to my rear rim today!
I'm ridìng 29" forks on a 27.5 QR 9mm and the extra stack height pushes my headtube back to a slacker angle that feels better going downhill than it did with the original 27.5 fork that came as stock on it. It's all about experimenting with new ideas homey.
It's the low arch. I have a fixed 38 27.5/27.5+ fork with a 29er on it with plenty of clearance, so it would definitely depend on the fork arch! But just get a 29er fork for the job. But I was curious about the amount of clearance on my new bike with 38s with a 27.5 set up. More than enough, a good 4 inches to play with on it! I still want to get a proper 29in/27.5+ fork with a 44 mm offset, but the 27.5/27.5+ has a 57 mm to 44 mm offset, and the 29er 38s have a 44 mm offset, so obviously, it's going to work up to a 2.5-inch-wide tire, nothing bigger.
The pitch was marketed as an entry level trail bike. I would agree with you it is more of an XC bike with such short travel in it's stock configuration. If the 29 fits the rear I would like to see it be converted to a mullet first then to a full 29er. Do similar runs in all three configurations. 27.5, mullet, and 29er. Then give us your opinion on its best setup. I have a feeling the top tube will make the stand over hight too high in a 29er configuration.
My wife has a mullet xc bike. It's an older Gary Fisher full sus that we wanted to to slacken up on the front. Still within xc geo, but took her head angle with a fork and wheel change from a 71 to 69.
Did the same thing but I have a 29er...went regular mullet but wanted more slack and did a 69er. I love my bike now...like a big bmxer that absolutely rights on descents and flies uphill. Wheelies manuals everything better with the 26 out back and 29 up front.
My friend fitted a 29er wheel on his 27.5 Manitou Machete fork. Not sure but probably because of the reverse arc design of Manitou forks. I have 27.5 Suntour xcr air and 29er wheels doesn't fit. Really a bummer because I ride XC too.
I did the same thing on my old Fox Float 26-inch fork, allowing me to run a 27.5 wheel on my ancient Yeti 575. I have to be careful with tyre choice. But a Maxxis DHF or DHR2 2.5 fit with a tiny amount to spare. An Assegai didn't.
My most awaited moment of truth and you explained it really well brother!! Btw i have a polygon siskui d5 2021 i was thinking of putting 29er tyre size on my 27.5 but i don't know if it will fit help me out guyz 😭
1.95 superlite 350gram tires at allieexpress are 28.5 they would work on the 275 fork and crest wheel. Maybe just 2.0 tire could clear. See this is over 2yr since posted..lol
Do the mullet thing. Have 2 of my 4 bikes setup that way. They are pretty fun to ride. Ones a 26/27.5, the other is a 27.5/29. If you really like the pitch, just get a new fork.
29 will fit on a 27.5+ fork. 27.5 x 2.8 = 29 x 2.0
Thanks for the video though because this was a question I had and glad someone tried it.

Will it fit for Manitou Markhor
@@jpval3484 maybe im not really sure.

Depends on the fork. I have Sr SunTour XCR 27.5+ fork and it fits 27.5 rim with 3.0 tires and 29 rim with 2.6 tire
Woww...
I love the Pitch content. It would be interesting to see it as a mullet. I raised the fork travel on Pitch and I really like it a lot and also getting a hope hub laced up to my rear rim today!
Not sure what size tire is on the 29, but try using narrower tire. It may give you little extra space.
Epixon or Epicon 27.5 forks can fit 29er wheels up to 2.1
Suntour xcr 27.5 with 29er wheels up to 2.10 too ??
I'm ridìng 29" forks on a 27.5 QR 9mm and the extra stack height pushes my headtube back to a slacker angle that feels better going downhill than it did with the original 27.5 fork that came as stock on it. It's all about experimenting with new ideas homey.
I'm about to try this as well haha
@@DQridesbikes It gives good clearence and space for your mudguard also. Good luck bro.
Hi..did u replace both wheel to 29er on your 27.5 frame..
Bro can we fit 29 fork in 27.5 frame please tell ( santour )
My frame size is 16.5 inch

pretty sure 27.5plus fork can fit 29er with xc tires since it has more space
My wife has a mullet xc bike. It's an older Gary Fisher full sus that we wanted to to slacken up on the front. Still within xc geo, but took her head angle with a fork and wheel change from a 71 to 69.
Adjust your tires to 29x1.95 its fit for 27.5 fork
Did the same thing but I have a 29er...went regular mullet but wanted more slack and did a 69er. I love my bike now...like a big bmxer that absolutely rights on descents and flies uphill. Wheelies manuals everything better with the 26 out back and 29 up front.
120mm fork
That rubbing sound. Atleast you converted it into a motorcycle :D
Hey Mark so if you get a 29 fork with that frame you can fit with 29 front and rear. Im still Checking if I can cut a 29 rear on my frame.
MC, keep it simple and sell it or better yet send it to me. Hahaha! Safe riding.
i have suntour aion 650+ forks , i have continental crossking 29 x 2.3 , clearance is ok , recommended 29 x 2.4 max
My friend fitted a 29er wheel on his 27.5 Manitou Machete fork. Not sure but probably because of the reverse arc design of Manitou forks. I have 27.5 Suntour xcr air and 29er wheels doesn't fit. Really a bummer because I ride XC too.
I am new to 29er bikes. Recently purchased one with a Manitou Minute Suspension Fork. Question is, can I switch out to a 26 RIGID fork?
Use a wide rim like a 35w and a 2.2/2.4 tyre as a narrow rims makes tyres ballon
Can u put 29 on rear? Frame support not official? Try put it. Not wide tire 29x2.1
My most awaited moment of truth and you explained it really well brother!! Btw i have a polygon siskui d5 2021 i was thinking of putting 29er tyre size on my 27.5 but i don't know if it will fit help me out guyz 😭
27.5+ would fit the tire, but you can try a 700c tire or wheel too. Probably not worth how much tire width you lose though.
27.5+ is / 29 ofcourse it will fit cause it basically a 29er fork.😁😁
i use 27,5 frame ..with 29x1.95 tires is fit in 27.5 fork
what rim did you use? Wide or nah?
Do you have extra brake ?? because i have no brake on my mtb 😌🙏😔
You could change just the lowers on the fork
Dayum , is there a way you can show me them lowers
bro san ka nakabili ng adapter to 141? Thanks and more power!
nice vid
I have a question,if the fork is thru axle, then your hub is qr is it possible to convert the hub to thru axle?
you should make it a mullet because it makes it more slack
hey bro, I have a question can I fit 26 inch wheel on 29 inch fork or 26 inch wheel on 27.5 fork?
Definitely bro
You can use narrower tyres ...more like gravell tyre's.
it will fit if you change your tire size
1.95 superlite 350gram tires at allieexpress are 28.5 they would work on the 275 fork and crest wheel. Maybe just 2.0 tire could clear. See this is over 2yr since posted..lol
Change the size of the tire like 29x2.0
my fork is 27.5 but my wheelset is 29er. compatible if you choose right tire or right size like 1.95 or 2.10
Try to put that 29 into rear and lets see what will happen! I have to learn from this video
File out that cross brace just enough to clear the tire
What if you will put 1.95 tire?
What abt 29" fork to 27.5" wheels?
time for a new 29er fork.
29ner 2.10 tire can fit to the 27.5 fork
Do the mullet thing. Have 2 of my 4 bikes setup that way. They are pretty fun to ride. Ones a 26/27.5, the other is a 27.5/29. If you really like the pitch, just get a new fork.
Giveaway for the wheels! Love the channel erp!
Bro just bought myself a mullet hardtail 2021 Orange Crush MX Pro. Will be doing a vid soon on my channel! 👊🏽
Just try gravel tires with 700 x 45c it will fit
Get a 29’r fork Mate and you’ll have a mullet bike. 😉😃
Whst size nung tires if you don't mind?
Would loved to watch a review on the satori dropper post.
he have that video on this channel
How much would you sell it for
Nice try Man, how much you sell you bike anyway?
Hello sir can I show video Trek malin 6 original hub put 11 speed? Can u
Nice one pareh
id like to see how the reverse mullet rides.
You'd need a smaller tire. I'd rather put the largest 27.5 tire on the rim.
just a tire size difference would have to get 47c, 45c, 42c
I'll buy it how much
Is this Jimmy Fallon's son bike show? 😂
Damn dude you’re like the 2000th person that think I look like him
Man I couldn't miss it 😅 Great vid btw 👍@@MCMTB
Nicee
Change your tire size to fit 29 er to 27.5 I have also 27.5 frame 29 er tire 29x2.0 tire
Try 27.5er fork match 29x1.95 to 2.10 tire wheel po.

I have 27.5 frame but i replace my fork...to 29ers
Ride it like that
Balak ko din gawin yan sa 26fork ko lagyan ko 27.5 di nga ata uubra hehe
A little bit of grinding bro. It won't hurt a thing.
kelangan palit ka nlng erp ng tire...kht 29x195 or 700c..pasok yan
COnsider doing the math instead. Saves money.
Change the tire size it'll fit
If you get a 29er fork and then go buy a 29er frame and some 29er wheels you will have a 29er bike
It should work with 27.5 plus rims not the regular 27.5
get 29 fork it will be cool bike
A bit of filing Mate and it should work 😂😜
Actually you can.. but you need to use 1.95 tyre
I think it's the size of your tire try smaller ones
Kuya mark baka naman po hahaha pambili lang po ng budget hub na tunog mayaman salamat😅
Just change with smaller tire
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 mate .... what are you doing !!!!
I have 29er fork w 27.5 wheel
Change your wheel to fast rolling then it will fit
Looks like he was using a Crossmark in the front. Those are low and fast xc tires as is.
it would only fit if you had more clearance
Change your pork into rigid type bro,it will fit
Extended the fork , the bottom
Send it to the PH erp! 😁
Change the exterior wheel size
"I love this bike, but I don't like the wheels"?!?!
Change your tire to a 2.0
nothing you cannot fix with some cutting and welding
You don’t want to give me that Bike? Xd
Get another fork or get a thinner tyre !!!
Change a tire
Put on smaller tyres these are to big
sa size siguro ng tire mo erp
