Are the ring bolts threading into the aluminum? Or do they have a steel threaded insert?

Ring bolts go directly into the aluminum wheel itself pinching the tire bead between the ring and the wheel. The bolts only need to be torqued to 15 foot pounds so you shouldn’t strip out any bolts if it’s done correctly

@@STOKED2SHRED2 10-4 thanks for the reply. Are the wheels super heavy?

@@jbw5485 No, they’re not too bad. Usually an average beadlock wheel wheel weigh about 15-18lbs. Obviously there’s lighter wheels on the market for a much higher price also. Method makes a great race wheel that’s super light!

How have you like this setup? Have you had any clearance issues?

    • @STOKED2SHRED2

The setup so far has been great. No clearance issues at all. So far it’s only rubbed a little bit and that was because I jumped it and landed hard flat. But other than that, they’ve been great. I’m actually thinking about going to 33’s here pretty soon.

how can you tell the is holding air, though?

    • @STOKED2SHRED2

When the tire bead is seated it will make a pretty loud popping sound (at least once but most of the time it’s multiple.) that tells you the tire is on the bead and you can fill the tires to whatever pressure you’d like!

Are the wheels 6+1 or 4+3 off set?
