this is a great vid Satori! I really appreciate the more talking theoretical part and it is very much a needed balance in these more tutorial-oriented content. Other tutorials from other creators don't take their time to "teach" and just do the mere "showing"
Santori I just want to thank you for your tutorials, it helped me not just improve my designing skills but enhanced my creativity too, you somehow helped me experiment and just try different aspects of designing and creativity, and I want to thank you for giving me this confidence. something about your tutorials stands out, never stop what you're doing cause you are helping a lot of people grow as designers.
I think that reducing the opacity instead of using the object's background color makes the design more reusable and portable through different backgrounds especially if it is designed for brands with different color themes.
This has got to be one of your best (either that or I am a good student lol) because I didn't even have to watch with the sound on to understand what you are showing here. Great job! Love your work!
The big circle idea around the 'M' to me has proximity issues with the edge of the poster so I prefer without it. But it is a great simple design that totally works, and thank you for reminding me to use the 'blend' tool which i very rarely use (or I just forget about).
That was a perfect example in giving the right amount of elements into a simple design that has a cool effect. Not crazy for the circle idea but I do like the color of it being the background, it seems to blend well w/ the M more then red I think, either way great video ^^
Red, white & black are perfect for a colour palette but could be a problem regarding the message to be conveyed. In my country it would be related to a funeral or a negative (sad) message. Great video and thanks for the lesson.
I don't know if you will see this, but whenever I select "Expand Appearance" it won't take over the outlines of the letter, is there any way to fix this?
Hi this is from sharukh. I love your designs please accept me as your friend. Only one request please don't stop making videos I am watching it online and learning many tricks and tips from you. please don't stop. I am your fan. I wish i can speak to you.- I want you to make one video of this question- 1.colors that you choose professionally but i couldn't understand that How to adjust saturation brightness hue to create a pro color pallete. 2.when to use/add value, tint, shades or hues- it is confusing. 3. How to adjust lighting that affects eyes couldn't see solve this please. 4. how your colors matches if you choose different colors to design any poster and it shows clean and awesome design.
I don't know if you'll see this, but when I do this I get a fade that seems to add white into the colour as it fades, so instead of a nice transition from black to red, it goes through grey first. Definitley not as nice as your approach, even though I followed all the steps
For some reason mine never fades from black to the other solid color but straight to gray and then into the other color anybody know why... I did everything according to the tutorial
It may have to do with which black you’re using. If you’re in CMYK, try making your black with 100% on all values (C:100, M:100, Y:100, K:100) instead of just K set to 100%. Both of these will result in a black color, but the “full on” black will avoid that gray transition area in gradients. Does that make sense?
@@SatoriGraphics yh. lol . the effect was just so cool. The basic issue is when you hit"Expand Appearance", you can't make changes to the text (outlined) text anymore. So the solution was basically not to hit Expand Appearance. But thanks for the video. You are an inspiration
i am furious right now because you don't tell people the short cut for windows user........you should name your title "Stylish Letter Fading + Pro Poster Tips FOR MAC USER ONLY!!"
Please do more of these poster videos. They are great to follow along to.
I do have quite a lot, if you search in TH-cam 'satori graphics poster design' I have a few videos 👍

Its first time i felt relatable with someone's design. and now I can convince client more bitterly... thanks ;D
Glad I could help lol

Great look from a fairly simple technique. I hope you’re well and keeping safe Tom.

Thanks for the comment. Colour is interesting, in China it's a colour of good luck, it's hard to get it right the world over ✌

Omggg, thaaaanks you
happy to hear you found it useful Elaine
I have read some online articles and i found the z pattern is mostly used for web designing
Satori, what would you recommend to read about graphic design?
oooooo cool !!!
glad you think so man, thanks
Hi I'm using 2022 version and when I apply the blend tool, the color of the letter from the back isn't changing... I followed all the steps :(
Great! 😁
Hi, its perfect 😍😍
for some reason, when using the eye dropper tool, it will not let me change the color, i'm sure there's a quick fix for it that i am unaware of
Is there a way I can use this on a proverb for a Typography project I’m workin on in class? It seems to work on only single letters and not multiple
thanks
No problem :)
After I 3D render it and press option to duplicate it even though I press ‘I’ it won’t copy the background color what would be the problem

Found the problem, I was working on CMYK not RGB...solved now
haha great to see you managed to work it out :)
interesting!
Glad you think so man
i like it
First comment goes to you :)
Can you please make a tutorial on golden ration and how to use them ?
For some reason mine never fades from black to the other solid color but straight to gray and then into the other color anybody know why... I did everything according to the tutorial
It might be your blend settings, you can add some steps so that it fades smoother, ask me if you have any issues
Ohh crap!! 3rd
You're slipping bro lol, hope you're feeling better now
@@SatoriGraphics yeah i am fine now thnx for asking 🙂
Once you go 3D there will be no going back....C4D 4 LIFE!!!! 🤪🤟when you realize what your Ai skills could do with cv-artSmart....
Blender is really really good, you can make similar designs to C4D if you have awesome skills... which I don't :P
No views!! Notif gang
Have a great day 👍
Hello Satori, how come you make tutorials without any mention at the title or on tags ?
Ai skills father
haha thanks Mohsin man !
please include the sizes before starting off
Can you make a video on funky logos or logos having funky vibes.. please
I tried it but it makes some grey color in between the red and black when the blend is applied I don't know why
It may have to do with which black you’re using. If you’re in CMYK, try making your black with 100% on all values (C:100, M:100, Y:100, K:100) instead of just K set to 100%. Thanks to idiots.cs they Don't disliked Satori's this video. Finally they understand the quality of his video.👌
don't fully understand the comment, but I get the general idea lol, thanks! :)
I dont like the circle, it just adds one more color

Just substitute any 'command' for the 'control' button.. it isn't rocket science. On a Mac 'command C' is 'control C' on Windows.
@@SatoriGraphics well, apparently it won't work for me..cocmand shift option does something else..maybe the shortcut are different for me..
great
