I'm 65, former "Blue Collar" now retired. Play guitar from the '70 just for fun. Same sensation about knowing what you are playing and how is helpful a keyboard in the process, thanks to the lessons from you tube a lot of difficolt are now looking more easy than before...new joy playing as never before!

Anyone on the fence about purchasing the Galactic Modern Guitar Method should be assured that it’s the best , it’s well structured and Daniel is a great teacher. Best course I’ve come across on the net for instilling practical knowledge that you can use straight away. Better than just a bunch of licks you’ll forget soon enough. 👍💯

Exactly, I Absolutely agree! This method has given me a structured way to approach my practice sessions effectively and is the best step-by-step method I've ever encountered!

In this lesson you've presented extremely important musical ideas that work on any instrument and in any style of music. The way you conceive of it and explain it makes it easy to understand, but you are opening a vast world of melodic possibilities that we can spend years exploring. I'm impressed that you fit it into a 9-minute video! Thanks!

I have been playing guitar for my entire life and all this is so overwhelming for me.... All I want is to be able to understand it all and it just feels so far out of my reach... Countless instructors every day spent perusing youtube.... I feel stupid... I see all these young guys playing so well and fluidly here I am at 47 still playing the blues...

    • @WeissGuitar
      @WeissGuitar  ปีที่แล้ว +2

Hey there, Don - I read your comment and I just want to say, don't give up!
It's never too late to learn something new or improve your guitar playing.
I understand that it can be overwhelming, and it may feel like you'll never get to where you want to be,
but I promise you that with practice and patience, progress is possible.
I know it can be frustrating to see young guys playing like "guitar gods" on TH-cam,
but remember that everyone has their own journey and it's not a competition.
one thing I learned.. Comparing yourself to others only leads to disappointment and discouragement.
Instead, focus on your own progress and how far you've come.
Think back to when you first started playing and all the progress you've made since then.
If you're feeling stuck, I recommend trying to find a teacher or a mentor who can guide you (I teach) and help you understand things that you're struggling with. Also, don't be afraid to experiment and try new things on the guitar -
even if it doesn't sound perfect at first, keep going and you'll get there eventually.
If it helps, for me - reading has been a big one, There are many inspiring books out there that aren't specifically about guitar playing but can help with overcoming resistance and staying committed to your creative pursuits and passions. You never know, one of these books might be just what you need to get motivated and inspired again.
So don't give up, keep playing and practicing, and remember that progress takes time. You got this!
      P.s
always invited to check out my guidance and resources at Weissguitar.com
hope this somehow helps, music Is a gift we all share.

Hey im not sure best way to contact you but I’m interested in your course but would like some samples I’m a semi experienced guitarist Ive played enough to have some decent chops and have studied some what but I’m currently learning the stuff Ive not committed to memory so I’m ready to marry them together so if you got the right stuff tabbed out and in a properly stepped program then that’s exactly what I need

@@WeissGuitar thanks for replying I did find the deal on lessons great job you play very well I like your delivery. Here’s my deal that was a step to far if I had my fretboard memorized it probably would right around what I’m looking for so I am seasoned but this is one of my weaknesses I’m capable of playing alot of the phrases I just have to have the tab because I don’t have fretboard memorized which I’m trying to get my triads cemented im even playing piano and this is helping this time I’ve done some theory classes before but stopped because I didn’t have time for keyboard 🎹 anyway
So where does your course start at what different things do you expect someone to know to start this part of your lesson if that makes sense

@@WeissGuitar yes sir , like I would need to know the root of the triad quickly to maneuver from triad to triad . I guess you could just learn the triad position names up and down the neck but I would think knowing each note would be more beneficial in the long run . I’ve been doing an exercise where you start on the F on. The e string to G to A to B then in the a string C , D , E ,F , D string. G , A , B , C ect. 4 notes up the neck then. Back. It’s been helping a bit. I really like your “ back to the root video and others but they are a bit advanced for me at the moment ..
