For anyone wondering this actually was in 2001, not 2009. This show/tour, called “Guns, God, and Government,” was to promote his then-new album “Holy Wood.” Twiggy, Pogo, and John 5 had left the band by 2007, they wouldn’t be here if this was performed in 2009. Marilyn Manson released his album called The High End Of Low in 2009 and was touring for that album.

I was about 10 when he got big. My mom would freak out in disgust if he was on tv saying hes a devil worshipper and u basically trust ur mother. A few years later she rented rocky horror picture show and she said she can remember going w/ friends and dressing up. Now when i watch these clips with an open mind i have a few thoughts.
1)He had a great voice..its like goth meets i put a spell on u by screamin jay hawkins...shits awesome
2)The performances are musical theater. Its rocky horror picture show meets heavy metal. His feel for moving the crowd is undeniable.
3)Its every kids worst nightmare visually paired with the music to match. I think hes a very underrated performer. U cant look away. Shit is amazing.
