What is the basis of true knowledge?
Swamiji elaborates on the three source of valid knowledge. First is ‘Direct perception’ or ‘pratyaksh praman’, it is a very limited way of getting knowledge in the spiritual world because the experience in the spiritual world is very subtle and beyond our senses.
Many people who are ‘pratyakshvadi’ say I would believe in God only when I see him. Like in any other field there is a definite process to be followed to perceive God, either to believe in the authenticity of scriptures or surrender to a God realized Guru. Bible says blessed are those who are pure at heart for they will see God in his full glory.
Second is Anuman praman knowledge by inference. Many believe that this astonishing world that exists, it must have a creator, without a creator this cannot have come into being. We cannot see the creator but we see his creation which leads us to believe there must be some divine supreme, intellect behind it. Using this inference they come to certain conclusion called ‘Anuman Praman’. God is beyond the purview of human intellect just as a frog in a well is unaware of the magnitude of the ocean.
Maharshi Patanjali, one of the six sages who wrote Shad Darshan (the six-philosophical theses,) is a highly regarded Sanskrit scholar with multifaceted dimensions. His Yog Sutras(also known as Yog Darshan) that primarily deals with sadhana or spiritual practices is in the form of sutras. These sutras are “simple yet effective aphorisms that have strung the philosophy,” says Swami Mukundananda ji. The Yog Sutras are not only ancient but also very practical. Modern Psychologists too are discovering its utility in guarding or in regaining mental health.
In this preamble to Patanjali Yog Sutras, Swamiji introduces us to one of the primary requisites for spiritual progress, while answering these questions in a lucid manner - Who is Patanjali? What was the purpose of his birth? How did Yog Sutras come about? What are the elements of Yog Sutras?.

Worth listening it again n again from swamji. In the spiritual field so many things we can't see it at present but that doesn't mean there no God. our experiences is very limit to our world. there is so much beyond our experience n God is beyond the preview of our experience.

I really liked the example that Swamiji gave about the existence of the creator of the world, the story about Issac Newton and his friend made a lot of sense to me. Swamiji is exactly correct. All atheists should listen to this lecture.

It's very true swamiji, there's a process to see God. "Blessed are those who purify at heart, so purify u heart n you see God. Example -you can't see butter in the milk, there is a process to see it.

We cannot see God with our material eyes. There is a process to purify the mind to see God. Saints have said they have seen God, if we follow the process we can also see God. Thanks Swamiji

The theory of seeing anything is limited.... If anything stops the light, we can see that object... transparent things is not seen at all...so only seeing is a limited purview
