Let me clear this up. It's not to do with Michael Jackson molestation allegations as that wasn't until August 1993. The award in the video was in 1992. In 1984 Michael Jackson appeared with Diana Ross at the same awards with a similar jacket to the one Axl is wearing. So it was a joke to to say "I'm not copying Michael Jackson"

I'm a fan of the 5% but that %5 didn't better or match what proceeded it.
