- The Yoshimura ALPHA-T Full Exhaust is a great choice for many Yamaha owners out there. Was he using the clutch to slow the bike down everytime?
I know for cars its used to calculate how much friction there is in the drivetrain to accurately measure the engine horsepower, without this measurement the dyno could only calcute the power to the wheels.
But in this cercumstance i dont know wtf he is doing

What kind of horsepower did you get after the tune?
I would have to go from memory here and even if I did remember correctly I could only give you a peak horsepower value. That is not the magic sauce. The actual curve shape and how much gain we get across usable rev range is really the ultimate way to judge the performance increase on a tuned motorcycle
I have this exact same exhaust. Boy... let me tell you. It’s not the loudest one but ufff I love the sound so dam much...

Take out the DB killer and then its gonna be the loudest. Imagine at 16k rpm you let go of the gas and hear back fires 🔥🔥🔥
If this isnt the loudest then what is? Cos this is pretty loud, obnoxiously loud imo. Even riding with noise cancelling ear buds with the music full blast i can hear this scream as if the music volume is at 10%
But does anyone know what full system that's available atm that's the loudest? Or do I have to get headers and a slip on mix match. Like akra headers+ sc project CRT?

It's a full exhaust so yes, it has no cat at all.

Is it too loud for Jennings?
They got me one time. I installed the db killer. They pulled me off again. I think I have it narrowed down to the pop of the upshift with the quickshifter. That exhaust should not set off Jennings levels but the pop is pretty loud. I had to build a deflector for the canister and direct the sound under the bike and out the other side. They haven't gotten me since.
If i get the full exhaust on my 2020 R6 will i need to get it tuned?
You can run it without but that is a waste. You can actually get a better value of benefit if you just tune but most people want the exhaust instead. My recommendation is always do air filter, full exhaust. And dyno tune all at once, otherwise you are shortchanging yourself
