I bought one in Aug 2018. This is our 3rd season with it. These are awesome for the price. They are more like 500, 600 now. Dont get caught up in all the pool maintenance bs. A floating device that can handle 1" chlorine tables will be all you need to maintain it. Rules= wear the same swim trunks/bathing suits in everytime. Wash your pool wear in water only. Keep your filters clean ( after ever use) Dont use powder chlorine. Its not user friendly or pump friendly. Inflate it till its firm to push. In the Midwest, May 15 to Sept 30. Take it down, clean it. Store the pump indoors during the winter. We love ours and hope you enjoy yours too.
Inflatable hot tubs are much better than they should be for the money. We got two years of good service out of ours and threw it away when we bought a fiberglass tub. We had far less trouble from the inflatable.
I have this very hot tub! This year is my +7thyear to use it. I have it in our carport and use it every day! I take real good care of it changing filters as needed and changing water when needed, It has really been worth what I paid for it. I love it!!!
This is my second Hot Tub. Love it. I left my first one with my house When I sold it. So I have been looking forward to installing this one. Very easy to put together. My only problem now, before I put water into it, is where to place it.
Fantastic walk through of how to set this Coleman SaluSpa up. So happy to have found this since the instructions that come with the unit are pretty much worthless! Very nicely done how to video!!! Thank you.
I have this info from first hand knowledge. In hell, there are massive jumbotrons that play youtube how to videos nonstop and at max volume and you cannot fast forward any of them!!! This video will NEVER be played down there! Thank you for speaking clearly and only saying what needs to be said. No annoying music or stories about getting in a hottub at grannies as a child blah blah blah!! U ROCK! Keep it lit!!
I noticed that you reply to so many comments on this and was wondering if I could pester you for advice. My boyfriends saluspa had been losing heat for a while so I retrieved the lid an together we cleaned, inflated and replaced the lid which seemed to solve the heat issue. But it needed the water changed and the whole thing had gotten cloudy so we changed the water and cleaned the tub. After refill, the filter refused to work. It kicked on for a moment then displayed error 3. He did some reading and decided to clean some part of it w white vinegar. Afterwards it displayed error 04. Overheating. It's definitely not overheated. Do we need to just buy a new heating element or can it be salvaged? Thanks in advance.
Try putting the water through the unit from the chlorine exit port with the unit off. It flush's the air bubbles out of the unit. The AIR Bubble's will come out the filters. Reset the breaker on the 110V plug, Let me know how it goes!
@@DURTYMAXLML after awhile the thing worked again but not great. We had it replaced. Now the pump on the new one is just kinda loud and chunky sounding, like it's struggling. Any suggestions?
I got one of these last May. I have it in my garage to protect it from weather and sun damage, but also it's less cold during the winter in the garage lol best thing I've ever bought for myself and still works like brand new!
I love mine I put it in my basement in the winter and outside on my deck in the summer! Order a extra impeller I had to replace mine when the pump shut off for a EO2 code which is usually a bad water flow code or filter mine just happened to be the impeller for some reason the magnet on the impeller went bad! Easy fix
CAUTION FOR COLD WEATHER USE...the tub works great for soaking, but the "jets" draw in ambient air from outside the tub and pumps it into the tub as shown. If the outside air is cold the water temperature will drop VERY fast. That aside, we're in Colorado and have had no problem with the tub in sub 40 degree weather. Fantastic winter soaker, should be a great summer jet tub as well.
Do you keep it covered by a Gazebo or anything to keep the snow from being directly on it? I live in Ohio and would love to keep it open during the winter months as well.
@@shawnapruitt2482 It gets some shelter from a tree, but it's not protected. The heat that it radiates keeps is accessible. If we get hit hard the snow will initially accumulate on the top. The extra dead air seems to help it retain heat a bit year round.)
My patio slopes away from the house for drainage purposes so, I need to build a level platform for a new spa like yours. How far does the power unit stick out past the side of the spa? Extremely low maint and healthier than chemicals

Very nice video. The one thing that strayed from the video produced by the manufacturer is that the lid in inserted into the cover before inflating. I followed your instructions and found it more cumbersome. I have a newer model and the o-ring comes one the connection piece. No need to insert it. Also, mine only had one filter.
The heater is very quiet you probably won't even realize it's there, but if you turn the air bubbles on it does make quite a bit of noise. I hope this helps thank you very much Jannette!
Yeah I recently found out that there are two different versions of this hot tub! It's hard to differentiate because they are both listed under the same name! Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the second version! Please let me know how it goes! Thank you!
Energy cost is around $25 a month. I live in Cali so it doesn't get very cold. It holds temp very well. I love this Hot tub, I use it almost every night! Thank you Ben! You'll love it!
We are both 66+ yrs old with previous back surgeries. getting down into and then back up afterward is very difficult for us. I'm thinking of getting one to enjoy our golden years, BUT I am curious about your thoughts of getting a small pool ladder for easier access. Certainly would want to put it on a platform with 3M insulation board under the spa.
Your video is amazing best one I've seen yet , I would have never known about the air tight ring if you didn't show us, I was sratching my head trying to figure out why it was leaking, thank you!!!!
It is the best one thank you Max! I was curious where you got the right type of air tight ring to fit? I’m having the same leak and stayed up till 3am last night trying to figure out a way I can go to work today/sleep since it’s in my basement. Hoping a hardware store or something. Bought mine used without a manual or air tight ring so thanks so much for doing the vid :)

Hey man, love the set up and great video. Very helpful. Question, where (what kind/model light was that at the end of video?) very nice. Thanks for nice informative video. 👍
I was looking at one to put inside my garage, next to one of the auto door's and I already have 2/220 plugs. If you get a tankless water heater inside your garage, you could fill it with hot water. Put a blanket over the machine, sounds like a shop vac
This little machine is very quiet and the plug is a regular 110! As long as you don't have the bubbles on, you probably won't even realize it's there! Hope this helps thank you!
Yes it does! It's pretty good at maintaining Heat. We have sat in there for around two hours or so and the temperature never dropped below 100 degrees, in the winter time. Thank you Bryan Severa!
Awesome video! How were you able to close the weatherproof outlet cover over the plug? Mine won’t close over it because the plug is too large (long). Did you have to modify your cover and cut some of the bottom off?
How do you do the chemicals because I read that you’re not supposed to keep it in there whenever someone’s in there? Can you put the chemicals in a little set up they have or just throw them in the water?
I'm not sure how it would hold up in cold weather because I live in California! But I have seen some TH-camrs able to get this Hot to 104 degrees Fahrenheit in the snow! It's a very durable unit! Let me know how it works "A"! Thank you Kat!
Do you think this would survive Arizona summers? It would be in my covered patio but it would still get a lot of light and heat even through my solar patio shades

Yes you can use an extension cord just make sure you plug in to a GFCI safety outlet. Make sure you use the shortest cord for your desired length. Thank you Cherry!
For some reason mine goes into hibernation mode and the filter and heating turn off after 72 hours and flashes END 🤷🏼♀️ does yours do that too is there some way around that where I don't have to check it every 72 hours and reset it you would think that the pump would run all the time unless you turn it off!? I just don't understand why it would do that and how to fix it because when I go out of town I don't want to come back to a massive green disgusting hot tub ugh please help LOL
Considering it and want to store in my garage to use once a week. Will the air hold up? How often would I need to pump air to inflate. If I’m only using it on the weekend.
Awesome video... LOOKS LIKE MONTHS AGO... HOW'S IT DOING NOW ANY PROBLEMS OR TIPS...ONE MORE THING HAS ANYONE USED SALT IN THESE... LOOKING AT GETTING ONE... THANKS 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
This little hot tub is running like a champ! Instead of chlorine I use bromine, haven't tried the salt yet! I absolutely love this hot tub! When you get your hot tub let me know how you like it! Thank you!😎👍
I purchased one & the directions are useless! I’m new to hot tubs. Can anyone tell me what the clear hose is for? I know the black is for air, but I’m baffled on what to do with the piece of clear tubing, it’s about 4 feet long. Thx!

I simply just sit on the bottom floor. It's nice and Khushi. The buoyancy of the water gives my body a slight weightlessness, so it's not bad. You can adjust the water height so that the water line is around neck level. Thank you Wayne Simmonds!
I recently had to re-inflate mine after one year of use! Once a year ain't bad! I did inflate it during the summer time! Hot and cold weather can affect it! But if you have to refill it more than that there may be a problem! How often are you refilling yours?
Great review buddy. Question, I am purchasing one as well, I’m going to use bromine tablets, do those stay in the dispenser in the water while we are in there? You didn’t mention anything about chemicals, curious to hear what you think.
I started out using chlorine tables and have now moved on to Bromine. The Bromine seems to work better for these inflatable units. The 1 inch tablets fit in the chemical despecer I showed in the Video. Hope this helps! Thank you!
No the Jets don't really do much but look cool! They work well to cool down the unit if it's too hot! They also do feel somewhat relaxing, but nothing close to actual real jets. For the money $400, it works for me! Thank you GOODE!
3 people would fit comfortably, four would be a little tight. If you're sitting down the water level is right above my shoulders. The water level is adjustable you can set it to your own height. Thank you!
Thank you. I'm 6 ft, my husband 6 ft 3, long legs. I'd hate to get one only to feel like I'm sitting in a kiddie pool with my knees in my chin. Thats a funny picture.

Yes you can use an extension cord just make sure you plug in to a GFCI safety outlet. Make sure you use the shortest cord for your desired length. Thank you Cherry!
Make sure the extension cord is heavy duty like carpenters use or ?is mechanics use in their shops!
You mentioned GFCI outlet cover, where did you get one because I’m currently dealing with the same issue.
Home Depot! Thank you Raymond!
Works great, heats fast, as a full time RV'r its perfect.
I just bought one and I can't get the error code 02 off. It actually shuts off and beeps . Any ideas ?
For some reason mine goes into hibernation mode and the filter and heating turn off after 72 hours and flashes END 🤷🏼♀️ does yours do that too is there some way around that where I don't have to check it every 72 hours and reset it you would think that the pump would run all the time unless you turn it off!? I just don't understand why it would do that and how to fix it because when I go out of town I don't want to come back to a massive green disgusting hot tub ugh please help LOL
I believe that is a safety feature that makes it automatically turn off after 72 hours. Pretty sure you can’t change it.
Mine does the same thing, I just have to remember to keep turning it on.lol I'm going to look into this! Thank you!
Bets video explaining this! Thanks
I appreciate that very much!😎👍
Considering it and want to store in my garage to use once a week. Will the air hold up? How often would I need to pump air to inflate. If I’m only using it on the weekend.
You only have to put a little bit of air in about once a year! I absolutely love this hot tub. I use it about 5 times a week!
Thank you!😎👍
this is the 2nd one i have in 2 years they leak the pump now i need a new pump? not happy its a Colman
I have had no problems... Bummer!
how is the electric bill? And I heard the hot water doesnt last long when its cold, is that true?
Electric Bill about $40 per month. It stays warm as long as you don't turn the bubbles on! Thank you!
@ durtmax 40$ a month alone for using this?
Now I'm gonna look into one! Thanks for this helpful video!
Thank you Nicole!😎👍
Do you run it 24/7
Yep
I purchased one & the directions are useless! I’m new to hot tubs. Can anyone tell me what the clear hose is for? I know the black is for air, but I’m baffled on what to do with the piece of clear tubing, it’s about 4 feet long. Thx!
Mine didn't come with a 4 foot clear tube. I'm not sure what that is for? Maybe to blow extra bubbles!Lol!
@@DURTYMAXLML Given the crappy directions, you’re probably right!
@@DURTYMAXLML I finally figured it out lol. If anyone needs a manual, lmk
I just got one and set up last night hooked hose to water heater and drained it killed 2 bird with one stone.
Would the neighbors hear the pump I live in a HOA
The heater is very quiet as long as you don't turn on the air bubbles you should be okay! I hope this helps thank you very much!
Could you put it in side in a basement or is draining it a big mess?
Drain is on the bottom it could be a mess in a basement! Thank you Nick!
I just hook a regular water hose to the drain and run outside the carport,no mess at all!
Thanks for the in-depth unboxing and review
My pleasure! Thank you!
I got mine for $298 this black friday. Super excited to try mine! How is yours holding up?
How’s it holding up? I ordered the saluspa Grenada
How are your lights holding up after a year?
They work great! I ruined one led, I didn't tighten the screw top all the way after charging. My fault! Other than that, all good! Thank you Jackie!
I ordered mine it's an intex inflatable hot tub I know I seen them rubber things do you add them to everyone for the pump no one told me thanks again for sharing your information I need it have a beautiful day God bless you always
The rubber gasket came in the instructions. it is easy to miss. Hopefully your intex has it preinstalled! I'm happy for you keep me updated! I know you'll enjoy your hot tub! Thank you Milo!
@@DURTYMAXLML I will I promise thank you for the help I appreciate it I can't wait to get mine he should be here any day know have a beautiful day God bless you always
Do people use these pumps to heat up indoor bathtubs to keep the water warm?
I'm not sure but it would be interesting to see!
Turns on bubbles, ridiculously loud jet engine starts, the water uncontrolled like a kraken fighting a megaladon in the sea
Much relax
Does this inflatable hot tub have some sort of jets or water flow of some sort?
There is some filtration, and some air bubbles! But nothing like real Jets!
@@DURTYMAXLML thank you greatly! And great video!
I love mine. Had it 6 months.
We love it Too! Thank you Candy B!
How is it to sit on bottom flat my wife has bad back if you can let me know thanks
Great video. Very well explained! Thank you
Thank you very much Frank!😎👍
We're moving so didn't want to purchase a regular Jacuzzi. Did I mention "we're moving" which is why we desperately need a jacuzzi. I'm so happy runs on 110v and I can put that together without the hubby's help thanks to your video
Thank you!
EXCELLENT VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS ‼️‼️💯🙂TY
Just ordered mine! How long does it take to initially heat up? From hose water to 104?
It took 18 hours to heat up! But believe me it's worth the wait! Enjoy your tub Kristin!😎👍
SMH. Hey, I have an idea! Watch this video!
👍Great video!!! Very thorough!!! Does it have to stay plugged in or does it charge up and become portable?
Unfortunately it has to stay plugged in! A portable battery-powered unit would be nice!
Absolutely love my Coleman.
Me Too! Thank you Tonia!
Awesome video. Are there seats to add or pillows? How has sitting been?
I simply just sit on the bottom floor. It's nice and Khushi. The buoyancy of the water gives my body a slight weightlessness, so it's not bad. You can adjust the water height so that the water line is around neck level. Thank you Wayne Simmonds!
anyone know why I would be losing air through the top cupling on my inflatable spa on the inside? It will not stay inflated.
Thank you!
Should we use the spa when the heater is on? Thanks..
Very nice video btw 👍😀
Yes, you set the temperature you would like and the heater will maintain that temperature and turn on automatically! Thank you!😎👍
How do he jets actually feel? Do they massage the back at all
No the Jets don't really do much but look cool! They work well to cool down the unit if it's too hot! They also do feel somewhat relaxing, but nothing close to actual real jets. For the money $400, it works for me! Thank you GOODE!
Where did you get it for $400? Amazon has it for over $600!
Walmart got it for 372
Amazon!!!
Thank you!! This helped so much with my home set up.
Thank you Mslizz!😎👍
Good review but, how many fit comfortably and your heights for those of us considering purchasing one? How deep is the water level?
3 people would fit comfortably, four would be a little tight. If you're sitting down the water level is right above my shoulders. The water level is adjustable you can set it to your own height. Thank you!
Thank you. I'm 6 ft, my husband 6 ft 3, long legs. I'd hate to get one only to feel like I'm sitting in a kiddie pool with my knees in my chin. Thats a funny picture.
@@denisec8914 😂... Knees in chin. That's a funny picture too. You are a whole foot taller than me... 😂.. 5'2 just about.
Great video bro, it couldn't been more perfect 👍
Appreciate it, Thank you Rafael Colon!
Yes it could have. After actually using it....what do ya think?
Great video, now I really want to get one
Dope! I appreciate the direct review!
Thank you!😎👍
anyone know how to get there coleman saluspa a bit hotter than 104?
