- welcome to part seventeen of 'the leaf'
I want to build a 1930's super reliable daily driver, I have a 1936 Austin 12 rolling frame , a 1927 to 1933 Lea Francis roadster dicky body and radiator and for power a 1800 cc Isuzu petrol engine with a 5 speed gearbox..hopefully this will be a very straight forward build and with luck shouldn't take too long, I will be documenting what this costs as we go along but needless to say I will be using INGENUITY OVER BUCKS....
this weeks main objective is to have a drive up the road in the leaf, but i start by checking 'the rat' wheels for trueness ...i continue catching up on jobs plumbing and wiring battling the rain on the road to driving up the road....also Neil takes a trip to 'wheels day ' car meet and has a look round there ....
