0:47 - somehow I can just picture the designers & engineers discussing the MD11 regarding the need to 'fill up the usable space' on that airframe... seeing the spot at the base of the tail above the fuselage and agreeing: "Well, look at all that empty space - why not place another massive engine there?" And so it was to be; seems to work just fine.
What a treat - the 727 with the nose. Is there really a purpose for it??? I now know where all the MD 11's went!! as always, great video!!! loyal follower.

That Raytheon 727 is another level of loud. Live 3 miles from the air port and you know it's Voodoo1 taking off. Also, the UPS 747s land around 2100hrs.
