Excellent guide. This is must watch material for anyone on ThumperTalk who asks how to install ice studs. It’s also excellent advice to count the knobs on your tires and then buy the right number of studs you need. A lot of people don’t do this and end up with sparsely studded tires because they don’t bother to order more and just want go out and have fun.

Riding on the ice is an awesome feeling, can't wait to do it again. The Groms are a blast on the ice you can pretty much lay them down and drag handle bar and still have grip lol.
So much fun... the plan for my stocks this fall.. tho, ima try studding them after mounting and air... i hope the rigidity in the full-ish tire will make drilling easier...🤔
May sound dumb asking this...for winter riding on street in New England states...snow, ice, crappy shit at times..not straight ice riding...for a stud tire basically what would be good?
In most states in the U.S. it wouldn't be legal but if I were to do it I would put a minimal amount of screws just because they won't grip well on the bare pavement.

None. Batteries and cold weather don’t mix unfortunately, unless you can make some kind of sleeve that keeps it warm which I’m going to try and do this winter.

Great method for frozen lakes. Use a 5 gallon bucket to place wheel on to change tires, helps doing a miserable job.

You need to install a liner and get the longer screws that sink into it.
yeah i ripped those in 10 minutes with littlebit harder riding if you wanna get some real grip make your own
