I dont get why it's not allowed to use it? There are character restrictions in YT descriptions etc. I can't imagine that they'd not let you use the link they let you create..
I made over $150+ dollar in a day and got kicked out during the night. Later, I realised that I didn't add the link of the website on amazon through which I promoted the products. So, don't do these mistakes.😅✌️

@@naveenhustler Yes. I would suggest you to add the links of your social media handles too on the website section in amazon affiliate. This might save you from a lot of troubles in the future.
Didn't know what I was doing when I applied, I generated several sales in only a few days, but got kicked out right after. x) I was pretty much doing numbers 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 without realizing they were bad 😂 Now after watching this video I can reapply confidently and do things right!

I just went through my website and realized at the end of this month will be 6 months since I launched my site. No traffic yet, but if I’m correct, I should be starting to receive traffic over these next couple of months. I’ve now increased my efforts and think early next year will start looking promising. Great question! But as they shouldn't be getting a link directly it should be hard for them to share it. Ideally they'd just share your entire site address or video or post etc.

Hey - you should be able to find the watch later if you click on the 3 dots under this video. I don't use Woocommerce with affiliate links anymore as I don't think it adds much value. It's much better to put links within useful content, like articles. Good luck!

Hey Geoff, good to hear from you. They are different. I don't use Woozone anymore, its an out-of-date way of creating Amazon sites. AAWP enables you to add products to content in tables etc. Nether of them link cloak.. For keyword research you should try Low Fruits (wpeagle.com/lowfruits).
Now I know the copying images from Amazon is correct and gets you banned, but when a seller upload a product image, it is on the assumption that they either own the copyright or the usage rights to use the images and in the case of a lot of the Chinese sellers they don't. Upon doing so, they grant Amazon and it's affiliates (us) the rights to use the said images, so I'm not sure how this can lead to a ban...but it obviously does in some cases. But Amazon only want you to use the Stripe images which are linked to the Amazon product...but we are not allowed to copy the image and link to it ourselves. #confused
Very interested in your last point, about (once you've successfully made it through the first 180 days and made it into the Affiliates program) "you need to keep making sales". Is there any basic rule of thumb there? Like "Make sure you have made at least 1 sale every [amount of time]."?

Do NOT use your own links to make your sales... OR have friends or family do it either. The sales need to come in from strangers. Don't know how they figure this out... but they do.
Ok so it begs the question - what if you have a link out there you put and then got disqualified. If someone makes a purchase on that old link - does Amazon not provide the commission? That seems like it would incentivize amazon TO ABSOLUTELY disqualify linkers. That doesn't pass the sniff test and legality test in any country.

I did but don't understand. Your website/app/social media account includes an unapproved use of Amazon trademarked words, images, or reviews (which may include variations or misspellings). We do not allow the unapproved use of URLs, trademarks, logos, amazon web views etc. that include words that are trademarked by Amazon and this is a violation of our Trademark Guidelines.... Does this mean I have to change all my videos I did prior applying for the program?

@@XOAliciaMarie Amazon definitely doesn't always send you a warning. They don't even send you an explanation. Usually you have to call or email for an answer about what little thing you did wrong.
I have done this, the links are the same...but i got 2 accounts shut down saying my links don't have trackind id in them. In sitestripe it says that the links already have it built in and the help on the assosiacte central says don't worry we follow your trafic even without the ids. But they keep closing my accounts and it is bullshit. How do i put the Id in the links and how do i fix this? Anyone?

Instead I would have to post a link in a private group back to my original post in my public group. Is that correct?
So, you have to post a disclaimer that says when people click on your links you will get paid, but you can't "encourage" people to click on your links because you will get paid. Yeah, that's a distinction without a difference. Way to go Amazon.
If you need to change your links in the future, maybe to a new ID because you sold your site, it can only be easily done in bulk if you use the long links..

Yeah, as mentioned you can’t change the tracking ID if you need to, for example if you sell your site or change associates account.

Can you get absolutely no warning and I think this is just ridiculous. A warning or an opportunity to correct the mistake should totally be given.

I didn’t fully understand this that they sent “We noticed that you are not using tags associated with your store ID in any of the Amazon Special Links you have created on your websites. In addition to this, you do not have valid Amazon Special Links in any of your sites and thereby, we are unable to determine the source of traffic.”
They take long to respond so I’ll just apply again.
They also said I don’t have enough followers but no where does it list how many are ideal.

Seems your links are using someone else’s tag? Or maybe an old tag you deleted?

So, you have to post a disclaimer that says when people click on your links you will get paid, but you can't "encourage" people to click on your links because you will get paid. Yeah, that's a distinction without a difference. Way to go Amazon.

Why would you not use the short link and use the long one ? Whats the difference ?
If you need to change your links in the future, maybe to a new ID because you sold your site, it can only be easily done in bulk if you use the long links..

You are allowed. You just have to used the get link code to insert them and not just download or copy and paste them in..

I'm just curious because I stumbled on this video from Google and I sometimes promote my content from TH-cam with Google ads and if I join the Amazon Affiliate program then would I get kicked for promoting my videos on TH-cam as ads?

Hello - I just got kicked out for the second time! I thought I fixed issues, waited three months, applied again, and got shut down 2 days later. I use a link shortener, copy Amazon images to a photo editor, and then place them on my website. If I remove all links and images, can I reapply so I can use site stripe links and images?
