Wow, I must say you really polished it beyond perfection. I have one exactly the same and only today I started to hand polish, but I think I'll get a bench polisher in the future. Yes it is a bit scary the first time you use them and heat up them up. But really such a cool antique and the Sievert brand is still selling today too.
Have one of these dated 1957 got it working briefly after cleaning out the jetport and rejuvenating the rubber on the pumper with silicone lubricant. Was able to pump up the pressure tested it, but unfortunately, the gasket rubber was so old it deteriorated it won’t hold pressure now. Any recommendations what to use to replace that rubber O-ring part? If there’s any substitute, modern equivalent these days. thanks so much. Nice job on the restoration.
Hello, you can use leather, i made one for another burner with broken gasket. You can make a gasket with the method i used in the water pump video th-cam.com/video/Ae77C_PgE6Q/w-d-xo.html
Hello, I'm away for work and unfortunately i can't make any restoration videos at the moment but I still have one to editing. Thank you for watching and comment 😉👍

You are welcome Nick, have a nice restoration 😉👍🔥
hello, good job on the torch. you can hook a frequenzy controller on that benchgrinder to slow it down to polishing speed.
Good idea 😎👍 thanks
These were used to pre heat the bulb in old hotbulb engines. Piece of history right there 📖
Hello, I didn't know it was also used for this purpose.

I never spend too much time polishing these up, by design they get burnt very quickly. I make sure it is mechanically sound
