Depends on your company. In core architecture, highest package is 7.5 lpa and in non-core companies, highest package from architecture branch is 48 lpa
As a final year student of architecture at IIT ROORKEE, please don't take architecture, you will regret ! :) All btech branch is better than b arch even if it's nit or govn clg. People chose architecture just because of iit tag but genuinely this is completely wastage of 5 yrs. And at the end you will find for govn job. As a senior I'm telling you. You can't even change branch in architecture. I even tried but it's not possible.

Paper 2 is for other architecture govt colleges like SPAs and NITs. NATA is also for many private architecture colleges.

No. If you have cleared either Jee mains paper 2 or AAT, only then you can get architecture in NITs and IITs respectively.
