Can you keep making videos like these with your honest experience? I really liked this video, and I want to come to FIT for the fashion design course next year but I'm afraid I can't handle New York City. I really wanna know what to expect so I can be well prepared if I choose to come there.
Yes, that is my goal to keep making these videos that I needed when thinking about going to FIT. Also feel free to DM me on instagram if you have more questions. Insta: anna_grace_hudson
thank you so much for these videos, you’re the one person who’s helped me get through my thought process of applying for FIT. i’ve been considering going to FIT for a while now but NYC definitely intimidates me. regardless, i know i want to improve my knowledge on fashion and your videos are amazing and i hope you continue to record these! thank you so much for starting this channel, you’re amazing not to mention so beautiful!
Love the video! I'm considering FIT for illustration! If I may ask, what are the general classes like/how intense are they? English, math, etc. I've been homeschooled all my life so I'm a bit intimidated by real classes haha..
I am glad you liked the video!! Tbh the gen eds here are pretty easy. FIT is very major focused so for gen eds there are alot of options for what classes you want to do for them and you can try to find ones that would be helpful for your major. I would not be too worried.
Hello! On my offer letter, it had some conditions I needed to meet. One of them was my Final transcript submission because I didn’t graduate high school yet. But, my problem was that on the offer letter, there weren't any specific GPA requirement I had to maintain for the rest of my grade 12 high school subjects. Do you know anything about this conditions regarding how much GPA I should maintain and would my admission be rescinded if my GPA gets lower?
thanks so much for these videos! they really help me out. But i was wondering if you have to be a good drawer and sewer in order to go to FIT. Anways good luck!
I am so glad that you are finding the videos helpful. It means a lot. Being good at drawing and sewing helps. I did not know how to sew before I went and I was fine.
I appreciate you filming this because I'm transferring to fit! And I was wondering how much does the dorm cost? Can you have your own room all to yourself or it's required to have a roommate?
I am so glad that this video was helpful for you. There are a lot of different housing options so I can't give you a price really. You can room by yourself, with a roommate, or with a roommate and suite mates. I hope this answers your question.
Studying at FIT is a lot of work but if you love it it is very fun. I don't know what fd courses cost because it is different for everyone depending if you are in state or not or how long your program is. I bet you can look on their website and see.
JUST AMAZING 😍😍, please give us more details about ur first steps to join this school , what did u do ,and is there a residence !! I'm waiting for ur answer and good Luck beauty ❤️
got accepted for the fall and i’m seeing a lot about how the workload is very high. Also is trying to fit a job in while working for fashion design program impossible? lowkey feel like ima be stressed asf
I'm not gunna lie it is hard and you most likely don't have time for a job, but the first year is fine if you manage your time. There will definitely be some weeks where you are pushing to get a project done but other than that first year was chill.
Hi! I wanna come next fall. How is the homework load? I will have to work when I’m out there and I’m trying to plan how I’ll manage school work and work and a social life all at the same time. Thanks!!
For me most days it is not too bad. You have a lot more free time than like in high school but you just have to make sure that you manage it well. Obviously when there are big projects due I will have to just focus on that for like a weekend but, I know that you can also do student work studies which fits in with your work load.
Hey I enjoy watching your videos and showing a little of your life at FIT. I have a question that I’m not so sure of. Does FIT care about your GPA, im trying my best to meet a gpa of 3.0 but I’m struggling to get there and I’m thinking in just turning in the gpa I have now with my fashion portfolio, I heard a lot of ppl who applied at FIT say that anyone can applied with a gpa lower so I wanted to know if it was true?
I’ve heard a lot of people say that fashion school is not worth it and that you can do it in your spare time can you tell me if it’s actually worth it or not?
There are some people who do fine without going to fashion school, but that is very rare. I would say it is worth it because school forces you to learn all of the necessary skills and provides you with connections. And when you go to get a job you have proof that you are capable. It is possible to get a job without school but it is much more difficult. I think if you were to learn at home you would need to be really serious with you self and not let it get pushed to the back-burner. I hope this answers your question.
This might be a bit of a personal question, but how much did it cost you for tuition? I know it varies from multiple factors but I want to know what the average is if that makes sense or if there are any good scholarships
I’m in highschool and I’m looking into FIT, not a lot of people have been uploading videos about it recently so I’m super glad you did. Thank you!!
Yes, there were like no recent videos when I was applying. I am glad you liked it!!

I got my acceptance email LETSSSSS GOOO
Okay, Go off! Congratulations for real
I got accepted into FIT and will be attending Fall 2024. Prior to FIT, did you have sewing skills? I have very little. Im excited and nervous
omg!!!
Can I have your Instagram plzzzz?
So amazing! You got accepted from my dream university:))))
No, I had very little sewing experience. You learn VERY fast. So don't worry.
I have two questions please:
-Is studying at FIT difficult? and how much do fashion design courses at FIT cost?
Thank you ❤️

Yeah, I will share more of my journey. I also have a video of what I did to get into FIT that will give you a ton of info.
It was really cool
Was the quality of the video really bad for you? It says it is still processing. Just curious.
@@annahudson4692 it wasn't bad at all tbh

Tbh there are not very good scholarships. I think I pay around 30k
No one is making videos for PG.need for MFA design plz anyone😭
That's how I felt when I applied so I made what I needed. If you apply you should do the same.
@@annahudson4692 are you studying Post Graduate?
I’ve heard it’s really competitive in that program. Is that true?
Yes, it has a 10% acceptance rate I have heard
Is there any scholarship available for international student?
I honestly have no idea but there might be some information on FIT's website
Geometry 👀 oh no!
It was not too hard lol
