This comedy stars Loretta young as a prim ,repressed nurse who unleashes her wild side when she goes sleepwalking! Joseph Cotten is the hotshot lawyer who receives her advances,if with confusion! Lots of fun in this movie 🎥 as the lawyer chases the woman until the end of the film! With Loretta young, Joseph Cotten, Cecil kellaway, Jim backus and Irene Ryan in the cast, it’s funny enough to watch!! 😮😮😮😅😅😅😅😅
You very seldom find movies like these old ones. There was a story that was told. Acting was good. Todays movies are mostly full of violence, profanity. Every second word is the F-word, boring long car chases, & so on. A vulgarity & basic ugliness has entered the Hollywood scene. Far too many films are not worth bothering to go to the cinema for viewing, & wasting your money on. I don’t look at the Oscars, or award ceremonies any longer, as it’s all become rather tedious. The red carpet is just a fashion show these days. Real glamour is not there like it used to be. I prefer to look at the old classics on UTube these days.
WOW 🤩!! What a great film my favorite kind of movie especially with the lovely Loretta Young and Joseph Cotton ,they sure don’t make these kind of movies anymore, brings back wonderful memories from the past, 🙏🙏🙏❤️thanks so much 👍👍👍
Joseph Cotten and Loretta Young had great chemistry on the big screen! I had only seen them play together in the movie, the Farmer's Daughter, which is my favorite romantic movie of all times!
It was great to see granny so young. She was spunky and pretty. And Florence Nightingale seemed more like a multiple personality than a repressed one to me, but I really enjoyed this just the same.
Dont like loretta 58:31 young in such movie like this, but i guest its acting and she was good. Love Joseph Cotten he was excellent. Love the move, thank you for it.
This is just a great LOVE story / romance story from 1951. Thank you for posting. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Time has no effect on good movies and a good story! 60 years later the story and movie are thoroughly enjoyable. Arnie Ottawa, Canada
Arnold Shyrokova-Vinette I completely agree. Beautiful expression of a deep truth. Listening to the subconscious, the inner child. And the trouble we get into when we don't.
Sweet movie. Just6st a thought... If more people listened to their inner voice, there would be more happy (frogs) people. I finally heard mine after 33 years and married my high school sweetheart.
Oh my....years before Bette. Loretta was in bit parts starting at 3! She was first billed as Gretchen Young at 17. So Loretta was in silents. Bettes first film in 1931, she was 23.
@@swordoff7 Ha! I didn't have that advantage. I know it's an old movie and the sound has eroded. I'll have to get out my earbuds to watch AND listen again.
Granted this was a bit of a daft one but I still enjoyed it. Sometimes you're not after something cerebral are you? Just kick back and watch something sweet from a bygone age. Loretta was very beautiful with a fab figure. My personal favourite of hers is The Doctor Takes A Wife with Ray Milland, so hilarious.
I really enjoyed this movie it made me feel good. Don't I know the there's two or even three of me - shal 8 or shan't I - today maybe. To, tomorrow could be! Also Cinderalle
Dario Witer your language is awful. Please try to tone it down for the rest of us who enjoy reading comments. Thanks in advance for not writing me back and calling me some ugly names. Just let it go and take it easy.
In all the happy ending movies the happy end is to0o0o0o0o0o0o short, like in this one for instance it is only a kiss long. I would like at least 2-3 minutes of the movies dedicated to the happy endings. What are the movie makers afraid of?
Fun movie & the gorgeous Loretta Young. However, this version, probably recorded off the Fox Channel occasionally has a strangely out-of-sync, overlapping, or distorted-sounding soundtrack during some of the musical sequences. I recorded this film on American Movie Classics about 20 years ago and there was none of the off-key or distorted music that this version has.
Anyone seen the movie "The Three Faces of Eve," which was based on a true story? -This film has similarities to it. -multiple personalities are known to exist.
I used to work in a hospital back in the early 70s and nurses actually had to wear the uniforms and their nursing caps and white nylons and nursing shoes. Even the nurses aids had to wear white uniforms and nurses shoes now they were scrubs every day that look like they took them out of the dirty clothes pile, and they don’t even call their hair. They just throw it up in a ponytail and they were crocs. Terrible!
I appreciate you sharing this movie TY however when you post a movie the volume should be higher not everyone needs the volume as you do. ty again for the movie
I can't think of the name of the song that was played off And on during the movie most noted when she' was dressing up in her green dress it's a big band song
Going to watch it this afternoon. Have always loved Loretta Young. So beautiful and elegant. I’ve never seen anything with her that I didn’t like.

Just love these old movies. There is a quality there that movies today can't match...
They sure don't make movies like this anymore.

Quel bonheur ces deux là. Loretta et Joseph❤❤❤❤
I guess if you don't mind the fuzzy picture its a good watch.
This is just the out of the box love story, and it's funny and unforgettable experience
I love how she made that green dress go from drab, to fab!
nice, funny, romantic movie!
thanks for uploading it (",)
Loretta made her movie debut before Bette Davis.
Oh my....years before Bette. Loretta was in bit parts starting at 3! She was first billed as Gretchen Young at 17.
So Loretta was in silents. Bettes first film in 1931, she was 23.
Lol! The nurse's outfit in those days reminds me of the #1 reason my mom wanted to be a nurse, those nurses hats!
Very good movie!
The nurse with Loretta at the start of the movie is granny from Hillbillies.
Little strange but I did enjoy it! Thank you for showing it!
ROMANCE, awesome movie..
I could barely hear the dialogue with all the loud, constant background noise.
I experienced the same issue!
@@nanettemoore5919
Me too. I turned up the volume. Listening to this movie using earbuds gave me a slight edge hearing the dialogue better.
@@swordoff7 Ha! I didn't have that advantage. I know it's an old movie and the sound has eroded. I'll have to get out my earbuds to watch AND listen again.
3:01 Well Granny always did the Doctorin, now we know where she learned how !
It’s a Cinderella story!
😂this is so beautiful and amazingly 👏 very funny 😄 😆 ❤ 🎉
Strange movie plot, but I love both of these actors!
Jim Backus and Irene Ryan in one flick! Mr. Magoo/Thurston Howell and Granny Clampett together! (BTW, Ryan also appeared in “Mighty Joe Young”!)
Terrance, I don't believe that Ryan was in Might Joe Young, what scene is she in?
Granted this was a bit of a daft one but I still enjoyed it. Sometimes you're not after something cerebral are you? Just kick back and watch something sweet from a bygone age. Great movie. :D
Loretta had such a beautiful dace🎉 and the green 💚💚💚💚 dress she wore wow 😯😯😯 cute movie nice to see a younger cute spunky Irene Ryan
Face
Good movie .
I wish my life were as romantic as hers.
Me too 😏
Jim Backus gives the population . I was three when they made this film. Today there are double the number of people.
OMG it's Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies. I would never recognize her face, but I'd know that voice anywhere.
I didn't notice it until she said "I'll go get it" and took off running! LOL. Good eye!
I recognized granny's voice, the instant she spoke.
So run seeing Irene Ryan, the original Granny from the Beverly Hillbillys!!
loved it
The doctor also appears briefly as the Dean of the "Jefferson Military Academy" in the movie "The Horse Soldiers" (1959). He was in many movies.
I really enjoyed this movie it made me feel good. Don't I know the there's two or even three of me - shal 8 or shan't I - today maybe. To, tomorrow could be! Also Cinderalle
Nurse Kay is Granny Clampett.😄
Too bad the audio is messed up....looks like a pretty good movie!
Hey, Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies is a cast member of this picture. =D
+Dario Witer It's granny, it's granny!!
+Dario Witer she was a respected comic actress long before the crap TV show & her name is Irene Ryan. She did Broadway, too.
Hey it's that granny lady from The Beverly Hillbillies! who knew? Where is "the cement pond?" lol
Dario Witer your language is awful. Please try to tone it down for the rest of us who enjoy reading comments. Thanks in advance for not writing me back and calling me some ugly names. Just let it go and take it easy.

Isn't it cool to see GRANNY CLAMPET looking young and cute!
Is the piano music warped??
For me this was a great movie, the girl was in a trance state,,a double personality where she wants to marry his childhood sweetheart
" Mike" is from Gilligan's Island 🏝️!!
A very young Mr. Thurston Howell lll. Aka Jim Backus!
Thanks a million, John!! Maybe I'll have better luck finding it now.
