  • Yosemite National Park an American national park in California, surrounded on the southeast by Sierra National Forest and on the northwest by Stanislaus National Forest. The park is managed by the National Park Service and covers an area of 759,620 acres (1,187 sq mi; 3,074 km) and sits in four counties - centered in Tuolumne and Mariposa, extending north and east to Mono and south to Madera County. Designated a World Heritage Site in 1984, Yosemite is internationally recognized for its granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams, giant sequoia groves, lakes, mountains, meadows, glaciers, and biological diversity. Almost 95 percent of the park is designated wilderness. Yosemite is one of the largest and least fragmented habitat blocks in the Sierra Nevada, and the park supports a diversity of plants and animals.

      @TravelingwithAndrew  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SDsailor7 Before it used to be so crowded but now they make you book a day so the crowd is more spread out. This was filmed in the middle of the week in June.

      @@TravelingwithAndrew I did not know that. I was thinking of going in April around the middle of the month. I think the weather is going to be cool like in the 50s. So I would have to make a reservation to go into the park? I would like to see the places you showed in the video.
      Thank you

      @@SDsailor7 Looks like they removed reservation this year.
      www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/reservations.htm
      Reservations will not be required to visit Yosemite National Park during the rest of 2023. Reservations were required in the summers of 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic and in summer 2022 when numerous key visitor attractions were closed for critical infrastructure repairs. They were also required for three weekends in February 2023 to help manage crowding and associated impacts during the Horsetail Fall event.

    Dude, just some suggestions; the video quality on your uploads is really good. However, I don't like the formatting of your videos. The video should be one continuous video of your travel. Not bits here and there and then cut off to a different section. It just doesn't flow right. Please please please start the video and walk around showing the main parts and no cutting off to a different part after 2 minutes. But well done with the video picture quality 👏

    Makes you wonder only one thing.
    Why did European settlers prevail to just look at the scenery rather than actually live in it.
    No question mark as it is a rhetorical question.

    • @coreym162
      @coreym162 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You don't know anything about it's history to ask that question. They did live there for a time. The lodging is their settlement and was a town.
