Linda , don't know how you possibly got any sleep with those midges in the tent, stuff of nightmares 😂. I also think i was caught in that bad accident before Perth, on Tues 24th Aug last year. I was also heading north as well at that time for a couple days hillwalking. Was a great spell of nice weather then to . 😎😎
Learnt a lot from that trip Stevie, the midges were hell! A lorry had overturned, I was just a few vehicles behind it. Hope the driver has recovered. Thanks for watching. Take care. 👍

Thanks Paul, I remember meeting you. We ran out of water that day so headed down after Cairntoul. Much hotter than forecast. I managed the other 2 from Aviemore side the following week. Hope you had a good day doing the traverse. Thanks again for the lovely comment. 👍
Well done that's an epic walk, I think I'd prefer to do Mheadhoin this way than from the Aviemore side, only thing is I don't think I'd get the best views of Loch Avon (seen photos it looks stunning). I'm looking at doing some more of the Cairngorms this year
@@LindaOutdoors I'm also looking at Carn a Mhaim, saw a video yesterday and wow the views of Braeriach etc are stunning. Ive done a good few of the Cairngorms, Cairngorm, Ben Macdui, Sgor gaoith, Bynack More, The 5 Lochnagar Munros, Cairnwell 3, 3 of the Glas Maol circuit (left out creag leacach cos of weather) Mayar and Dreish so far, only the long walks left 😂😂😂
Hey, great video. I'm thinking about doing this route but thought about taking the push bike up from the car park to derry lodge before walking the circuit. Would you think it would be reasonable to cycle?

Camped same spot got eatin alive worst midge by far, what an amazing place.

The tent invasion by that swarm of Midge was horrendous. You are braver than me, I'd have evac'd sharpish
