- In this video, we're going on a road trip! I found a great deal on Facebook for a full set of Highway 35 cars + Zamac Set, but it was four states away! Needless to say, we took a quick road trip to Indiana and back to secure the cars!

I'd like to imagine you just blasted 'Anything But Down' the whole way there & back. That is such a cool thing you did, I'd love to have a complete set of HW 35 cars. I think that for now you should display them on your wall, even if you decide to sell them later. Always love your videos.

I found most of my stuff on market place myself. all for a very cheap price. I got 12 loose world race cars( some rarer ones too) all for 20 dollars as well as a greatest track muscle tone and ultimate track set sling shot for 5 dollars each and a sealed deora 2 for 20 that came with other cars as well and a spinebuster for 5 dollars loose. I always look everyday to see if something pops up. market place is definitely not bad sometimes.
That’s awesome! There’s definitely steals to be had on marketplace, but they sure do go quickly

They’re definitely really sweet I had planned to sell the full set but I really don’t think I can bring myself to do it lol I don’t think I’d be able to find another one if I sold it.
She definitely slept a good chunk of the trip and left me listening to the Acceleracers soundtrack lol. I’ve never had bbq on a sub at subway I’m adding it to the list to try!
While I did love seeing the highway 35 cars and the zajac set, I loved the roadtrip and seeing your Mustang as well man! Also think that it's awesome that you and your girlfriend are able to share the hobby and passion for Highway 35 and Acceleracers! :)

Dangggg that's quite the hw35 set! That price you got them for was also great. Whenever I get subway I always get their meatball sub with a drink and some cookies

I’ve been through that tunnel on [8:37], and going through another one later, simply for going snow tubing up in West Virginia.
And if you’re curious what I eat at Subway, I get a 6 or 12 inch white bread, right - I’ll get ham or turkey (usually ham), American cheese for the most part, then lettuce, spinach, purple onions, sometimes mayonnaise.
I don’t even think I’ve tried chicken on my sub sandwich before, but I’d like to. I’ve had bacon on it once, pretty sure I liked it, but I’d prefer bacon & chicken warm rather than cold.
Absolutely man!! Had to make a run for those cars! That’s really cool that you’ve been through those tunnels! That was my first time driving north from NC! Normally we only travel south.
Sounds like a good sub! I’m on a subway kick recently and I’m working my way through the menu haha. The chicken is pretty good, once I discovered toasting subs it was a match made in heaven!
How about Kaley? Was it her first time going through the tunnel as well?

Heck of a trip for those cars but id say its worth it. 700$ is about what i paid in total for my mint set 2 years ago. But nice car! I love that generation of mustang and the red paint with white stripes looks so good on them too.
I drive from NC to South Texas a few times a year. 22 hours 1 way and I do it in 1 day and a half so I feel your pain. My record is from here in NC to Houston in 15 hours in one sitting then took a nap at a rest stop. Vary sketchy I dont recomend

These little adventure vlogs are pretty cool idea. Too bad not much Acceleracers related adventure to have out here. Hopefully Hotwheels Legends will return to Charlotte again.
It definitely was a lot of fun! But man driving at night once you’re a little tired is ROUGH, I underestimated that big time. But 22 hours is a helluva trip. I’d run out of music to listen to.

The wave rippers Deora II that I had as a kid actually got run over by my mom’s car cuz I accidentally left it on the driveway when I was playing with my hotwheels. She felt so bad that she bought me a special edition Deora II that was carded on a hotwheels book and then saved it for when I turned 16 and gave it to me then.
Hell yeah man 😂😂 I just might have to take you up on that if I find myself in Cali sometime! It’s been at least five years since I’ve been out there.

I’m in the middle of collecting the Highway 35 cars myself , since I didn’t get to as a kid , I’m up to 14 cars so 21 left , but by far my favorite is the zamac set with the original box and I got all 5 cars with mint blisters ; glad you made your trip safe and sound always good to hear 🔥

I will say this for everyone. If youre shopping for WR vehicles. Side Draft, Markie's corvette, Power Pipes, Chrysler Thunderbolt, Muscle Tone, Power Rocket, Road Rocket, 24/7, Aeroflash, and Wild Thing are the hardest vehicles to find on the market. Good luck

@@gdinfernoboy2157 Because no one even collectors are hesistant to pay upwards of 100 dollars for one specific car,The suppply is limitied since best of my knowledge 5,000 were produced and there is a lot of demand so to fill the hole prices go up..

Zamac just means the body of the car's metal is bare without paint, but decals can still be on the car or whatnot especially on mainlines

I have to know where in Indiana this was at. Got a general idea from the video and just knowing the interstates. Feel like a complete fool for missing the opportunity on this one 🤣🤣. Hadn't even considered looking on FB marketplace for the cars and I'm on there all the time. Should have reached out while ya were over in this area. On another note-- if you decide to sell some of these individually, I'm still on the hunt for the krazy 8s and slingshot to have all the team lead cars which may end up ending my collection for a while. Zamac hotwheels are generally walmart exclusives with chrome paint.
It was a small town - Lynn Indiana I believe. I know we drove through Dayton, OH, and it was about an hour or so past that.
You could have made a video cameo haha, missed opportunity! I’ll definitely let you know if I decide to sell them, Krazy 8s would be pretty expensive though unfortunately.

Yeah so what I think happened was the guy had bought all 35 cars individually in stores, and then purchased the Zamac set at a later date. So he didn’t get one of the 1/2000 sets that had the zed 36 and zamacs

Btw here in Spain I think we have different Subway flavors but my favourite will always be smoked chicken + jalapenos + honey mustard sauce

Nah, the set of 35 cars wasn’t one of the limited edition sets with the Zed, he must have collected the cars individually
@@theacceleracershub2904 Even that it was a great deal! If I were you knowing the conditions they are, I'll keep them for the ultimate hunt, and if you encounter similar deals of course re-sell them, but with your complete collection behind!
Damn so worth that trip, how much did you end up paying?
I ended up paying like 780$ for all the cars and another $200 or so for gas, food, tolls etc
Zamac means a special paint used to make them look like bare metal carsd

Honestly I’d probably say Rivited, I think that’s the closest thing to a mustang that was in Acceleracers if I had to guess

Do you mind me asking what you ended up paying for them? Had to be a great deal given the 18 hour road trip. I had seen this set on Facebook marketplace and was wondering who the lucky buyer would be. I think it's absolutely wicked that it ended up being you!
It ran me 780$ for all of the cars, and about another $200 for gas and food, so just under 1K! I figure a full set plus Zamacs could run for 2K minimum in the next couple months so it was worthwhile!
@@theacceleracershub2904 Oh wow, that's really insane. I know the zamac set has been going between 200-250 alone, and cars like the thunderbolt and side draft run 120+ really frequently. Really nice deal and I'm glad to see you've added them to your collection.
