Hey. Could You help me with an issue? I have the same biscuit jointer (PJ7000), and I experienced that the angle guide is hard to move up and down. I inspected and there's no dust or any obstacle neither on the gear knob nor on the frame. Did You experience such an issue too? If yes, what would be the solution?

Hey. Basically there is a small resistance in the knob, the only three things that seem to me to be able to cause the guide to block are:
- the guide is a little askew at the top of the frame (when inserting it into the frame it's better to hold it on the other side of the knob to be parallel) that's the only problem i had
- the locking lever which is not completely open
- and in the worst case a surface of the guide/frame has taken a hit or is slightly deformed
