- I bought a used MPS-1000 the other day. I will mainly use it instead of mapping drums in my DAW. (boooring)
The kick drum pedal was absolute shiet but I think it was wrecked from the previous owner.
The music in this video is belongs to me, along with the lawnmower. Except for the mexican thing, that I've found on a free for use site.

Hi! I live in Sweden and we are members in EU along with Germany (where thomann is located) and therefore I don't need to pay any import taxes. I don't know how it works for you in the US but I guess you can find the answer at www.thomann.com 🙏🥁

Actually about the kit. How quiet is it? I want buy this Millenium kit, is I interested about the kit "natural sound", you know, and I hope this kit is not loud. I don't want confusing my neighbors😅
No probs! Its pretty quiet, it's like any other E-kits actually. I would recommend putting it on a carpet for the sake of the neighbours 🎉

Hey, really cool kit. I was planning on getting my own. And i was wondering what the condition of it is after a year? I've heard the cymabls give out and there are trigger problems. Is it still worth buying?
I didn't notice any problems at all with that!
on an expensive Ekit at 7000$ even those triggern on the cymbal will go bad at somepoint... anyways dont be afraid of buying this Ekit , its just WASTE of moneys buy a 7000$ Ekit ;)
Can one change the mesh/skins to some other ones without the Millennium logo, like if one just one plain white or totally black ones.. are there any brands or do Millenium have mesh without the big logo on as well? thanks!
Yeah its possible to change, just be sure that you buy the right size for each drum!
do you know if the bass drum just has a small pad and sensor around the area where the kick pedal hits or if it is built with a huge electric bass drum that has a sensor and function of the whole bass drum diameter?
I see other brands that make the look of a big bass drum only having a very tiny area functional and small in size for the bass trigger so that the actual bass drum size doees not count for any effect...
it would be cool if it actually gave an effect by its' size to mimic real acoustic bass drums...
how does that work on this kit?

@framestomind7548 Na it's the small area version! But it doesn't really matter because it's trigger sounds in the end.. A good thing is that you can tweak the trigger sensitivity pretty well, so you'll get the right feeling!
Haha, that is cool... is there any other drum kit you feel is great to compare this one to that is worth looking into before one decides?
do you know if Millennium has more toms one can add to the top of the bass drum later on?
and as. I wanna play Latin jazz and funk I like to add an electronic cowbell, do they sell that from Millenium and are there outputs in the synth itself for more toms or other drums to plug into the synth it comes with?
colourwise, white looks neat! but the frame is black do they not have a completely white frame as well?
It's just an idea if one wants to go white edition to have it 100% white, or pearl silver details... would be dope!

Hi! It's just a regular drum head for bass drums.(acoustic drums)
Were the sounds from the video from a vst plug in or was that the module sounds ? 👀 I’ve been thinking of picking up just the brain
The sounds are from a VST plug. The onboard sound isn't that good actually!

Is this compatible with a td-27 module?
Since it's just simple pads with standard connections I'll guess it is!
I have used mine with a td 8. But the Hihat wasn"t really compatible since it has three parameters. I changed it out with a standard Hihat trigger. I got mine from DrumTec but there are a few companies offering them.

@Valter Kiislar oh! Yeah for sure, you kan make it smaller if you use the original hardware! The kickdrum will be the "loudest" drum acusticly but I'll guess you can put it on a rug and it won't be a problem!
