As someone said "Think Globally, act locally". Best course of action in my opinion is to influence or change our nearest surroundings and people. Its what I try to do to in my community. I cant change the world but I can atleast change whats near me and maybe that will inspire others nearby and a chain forms.
The answer is that enlightenment allows us not to be led astray by sociopolitical messages our media and political parties often push. Even if your not actively participating in protest knowing the truth is often "peace of mind" for many
Enlightenment and love and knowledge is a virus, just like hate. Hate spreads quicker, but both infect you and the people around you. You probably can't rise up and change the world alone, but by educating yourself and living an enlightened life and being honest with yourself and those around you makes a big impact. The virus spreads. Keep learning, keep talking, keep taking action and leading with love and knowledge and to inspire those around you to do the same.
A good place to start is the documentary “Requiem for the American Dream” Noam Chomsky. You can dive deeper by reading the book but you can watch the film quickly on line.
The best way is to communicate your opinion to those who need to hear it is when they are ready.... Do Not force this info onto those who are not ready, they’ll reject it as if they’re agent Smith from the Matrix/System.
Good question, I don't know the answer. I know this song doesn't hit as hard as some of their others, but yes, still very powerful. All their songs are.
the best action after enlightening yourself is to spread knowledge and enlighten others. The only power people can have over the power structure itself is numbers. Til enough are willing to take tangible action, education and countering propoganda is all we can do, just Rage with their music.
This one is the perfect one for you to remix with your Rap music ,but try to incorporate that cool metal, rock like RATM does. Find some musicians that will compliment your to protect itself here you go ..anew RATM come to life. We need this right now. Only it will be you your musician pals with the same mind set , the way RAGE was. The Beauty and the power will be your lyrics of today's mayhem that the people of America are trying to sort so humanity can keep working towards a social answer of a better tomorrow for our children and the 🌎 World. Let's make America great again with these steps with no walls or racism.❤I believe in us protecting our Nation America, but Trillions of dollars yearly not sure that's necessary. Any way love our Country, but we can do better, and all other Countries follow our lead . I feel your on the right thoughtful way of helping the 🌎 World with music and song ,rap, 🎵 🎶 ❤️ 😊😊 that will educate and make others want to learn with your lyrics and a strong instrumental incorporated along side it. AWESOME ..I LOVE YOUR REACTIONS " "CALM LIKE A BOMB" React to this one ..its fantastic!!
You should react to Zach’s song with KRS-One and Last Emperor. It’s called CIA (Criminals in Action) My favorite and most underrated RATM song is No Shelter. I feel it gets overlooked because it wasn’t an album release and only came out on the Godzilla 2000 soundtrack. But imo it features some of his best straightforward lyrics.
RAH ZAC doesn't rap on the down beats. Most rappers do. Zac will emphasize on the up beat or the half beat. Start counting 1 e and a 2 e and a 3 e and a 4 e and a. You now have 12 places to emphasize instead of just 4. You need to pick up that bass guitar that's sitting behind you. ✌
i think that once you become "woke" you'll have to work to move pass "wokeness" and to become conscious. The way to do that one must develop consciousness, and to develop consciousness, one must know themselves and educate themselves to better themselves. because you can't count on the ones in power to inform you and teach you the truth about the yourself and history. it a process that involves self reflection, acknowledgement and growth as a person. there are many great teachers and speakers that you can listen to on youtube help guide you. I suggest to read / listen to Kwame Ture, Malcolm X, James Baldwin, Dr King jr (especial after he went to jail), Mumia Abu-Jamal, Fred Hampton, George Jackson, Combahee River Collective, Angela Davis (despite what she has said lately), Nikki Giovanni, Bell Hooks, and Ella Baker. Also organize and take action because no one going to do it but us.
The thing about Obama is that...well, I got snowed by him too. He's legitimately charismatic, and during his campaign he talked a marvelous game. In practice, though, he wasn't even remotely left-wing. He wasn't even centrist. In my estimation he was closer to that idea of a "Compassionate Conservative" than anyone who consciously put that label on. How else could he explain campaigning on diplomacy, on reversing our position on torture, on taking care of each other, and then expanding the drone strike program, letting the PATRIOT Act keep going completely unaltered, implementing a timid compromise bill for healthcare originating from the Heritage Foundation of all places, and after leaving office doing nothing but throwing wet blankets on as many genuine expressions of poor and POC outrage as he can? If he really believed in Yes We Can, why does he look at the people who are putting that into practice and saying Let The Leaders Take Care Of It?
@@historysmysteriesunveiled8043 If you're talking about HR 4310, Politifact contests that interpretation, and considering the broadcast entities affected, while I'm no fan of the US, I'd listen to them over fucking Breitbart.
The spot you talking about the rat race... missed it a lil... he is saying all opportunities are ripped from you when you get put in the system... and kn this country, as a poor minority. you can only look forward to incarnation, and death... all those things are closed to you, and the jail welcomes you with open arms...

Review ‘Calm like a Bomb’ and ‘Take the Power Back’. Both by Rage.
Education is everything
Completely underrated... This video kinda embodies their whole message
Best course of action is to do something. It doesn't have to be big or flashy. If we all just pick up and lift wherever we are, we can move the world.

RAH one of their best deep cuts. Check out Roll Right. Tim kills it. One of the best grooves ever recorded. 🤞✌

Check out Movement for a People's Party and Jimmy Dore they closest thing imo to rage's message
Can you check out CIA with Zack, KRS and Last Emperor? Great reaction as always! 💯
CIA is probably the best mix of rap and the alt genre to date. the up there with the Loud Rock collaboration album

Now that you know, tell others. When enough know...
The best way to get more woke after waking up is to join the CPUSA and start a movement...

He also legalized the media lying to the public in 2013
