Mustard fish curry recipe

  • Ingredients:
    Rohu fish 1kg
    Mustard oil (as required)
    Haldi powder 1tsp
    Salt (as per taste)
    Kashmiri red chilli powder 1/2tsp
    Lemon juice-1
    Mustard masala:
    Mustard 1tsp
    Cumin 1tsp
    Coriander 1and 1/2tsp
    Red chilli 3
    Green chili 3
    Ginger 1inch
    Garlic 5-6 cloves
    Onion 1
    Marination:
    Clean and wash fish 2-3times. Marinate with Haldi powder,salt,chilli powder and lemon juice
    Preparation:-
    In a kadai,fry fishes till crispy on both sides with hot Mustard oil...Then fry potato cut in small size....In the remaining oil fry slice onion..after onion turns to golden brown add mustard masala,haldi powder and salt as required. Cook masala till oil separate from sides in low heat. Always Cook masala in low heat. Then add Chopped tomato and cook again. After tomato becomes soft add salt (as required),and potato becomes soft..
    Then add water and after 4min..add fried fish and cook 2-3min.Switch off gas and garnish with Chopped coriander leaves and serve delicious fish curry with hot rice 🍚.
