Byzantium is so great. I went to Texas Frightmare the year it came out and at night they would show indie horror movies and Byzantium was playing so I stayed and watched it and I was not disappointed. Still one of my favorite movies! Great list! Some of these I still have not seen!
@j.r.gonzalez13 oh, yeah, every time I get to meet a person who happened to see this movie It makes me so happy for some reason. Byzantium is like a little treat for the soul. Thank you for watching 🖤
I have the honor of storytelling Vampire the Masquerade game on a Discord server for four years in a row. I looked up specifically to "Addiction" and "The Hunger" for cues when setting up the atmosphere. We are also having regularl watch parties, so I will suggest that we watch "Blood for Dracula". Thanks for the recommendation! Also - watch "Near Dark" if you haven´t already.
I just need to warn you, Blood for dracula is very specific (maybe too much), but some moments are very worthy. Thank you for recommendation as well and for watching this video🖤
I've seen six out of the nine, I definitely have a soft spot for Byzantium and Let the Right One In. I would also add Romero's 1977 film Martin, What We Do In The Shadows (the movie not the show) and the Disney Channel original movie The Little Vampire.
i watched a few of tour movies blood for drac let the right one in and the addiction wow lili taylor WHAT A PERFORMANCE !!!!! LOVED HER IN THIS !!!! THANKYOUFOR THIS MOVIE
@@helgaketurka it was a low budget and felt more a like hand held type movie. it was different I remember watching it and at the end she basically felt alone almost like louie from interview with a vampire
Shirley again. U might like the movie called Grace about a baby who only lives on blood because it was stillborn and the mom brought it back to life. It stars Jordan Ladd. You might like it I did.👍👍
Good way of finding movies suitable for Goths, go through list of movies with Barbara Steele, Peter Cushing or Christopher Lee. Especially movies from 50', 60' and 70'. Also some movies directed by Mario Bava. And one specific movie: "The Vampire Lovers" 1970.
The Vampire Hunter D movies, Salems Lot, and John Carpenters Vampires are some of my favorite, but It's hard to find Vampire content that suits my taste. My favorite Vampire fiction is the Legacy of Kain video games, and I usually prefer to listen to Goth Metal than Goth Rock. I got nothing against bands like the Cure and Sisters of Mercy. I just prefer Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, and Feilds of Nephilim over Bahaus, Mission UK, and Susie and the Banshees. I prefer to read Vampire books, and the series that I am really getting into and has also inspired me to start writing my own material is the Necroscope series by Brian Lumley. His books have the scariest Vampires ever in fiction, and to me that is when Vampires are at their best when they are Monsters of Horror.
My personal all time favourite vampire film. Jake really made a brilliant film and Eileen was simply fantastic playing Lilith. Damn I miss Transilvania bar and the 90s
Shirley here from the US I am a vampire movie lover. There is a record store that I go to that has movies that I never heard of. And they have good vampire movies that are very unusual. Just wondering if you ever saw only lovers left alive? A lot of that movie was made in the city I grew up in. It's a different type of movie but it was good. LOL from the US.
Confirming I’m a real vampirehead because I’ve seen 4 of these and all but 2 of the rest were already on my watchlist :) the most recent one I watched was Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person, and I would very much recommend it
Idk if you're open to this but how would you feel about doing an (unscripted) reaction video to the 2025 Nosferatu trailer for us? It'll be interesting just to hear your thoughts. Personally I'm excited because based on the recent Movie poster. I'm convinced that, It's going to be way more accurate to Bram Stoker's Dracula in some ways. You can even see a silhouette of a mustache on this new Count Orlok.
An interesting idea, although I'm not a fan of this format. Especially since I haven't seen this trailer yet, and I don't have a friendly attitude towards modern cinema😁
The Only lovers left alive is so beautiful and funny. The blood icecream cene made me lautgh so much. Also, The fact that someone carries only books in their luggages it's so romantic. Never watched The others, but now i have to. Have you seen, let me in?
"let me in" is an American version of "Let the Right One In" (2008) which I mensioned in the video;) And that ice cream scene fron Only lovers left alive is so iconic and original, if someday I become a vampire, that's the first thing I would do😁
Great video, your voice is beautiful and your are gorgeous. A beautiful unique vampire movie you might like A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night, The Breed 2001 movie, And Nadja its beautiful unique and David Lynch is in it
Thank you for kind words🖤The Breed 2001 is something I haven't even heard of, I'll definately check it out. And as for A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night, I've seen the trailer, but never ended up watching it, idk why
@@helgaketurka you are welcome gorgeous 🖤, the movie The Breed is just called the The Breed made in 2001 I added the year because of there is another movie called The Breed and it's about crazy dogs lol, any way its visually beautiful, interesting story and characters and the costumes are awesome, it was unique and a head of its time. Very underrated. Any way hope you enjoy it. Have you seen We are the Night? If not I highly recommend it too.
do you know one with two vampire dueling it out with long nails like in the witcher 3 game? ive seen it in early 2000, but it feels like its an early 80s movie
"Only Lovers Left Alive" a masterpiece
Excellent! Thank you! P.S.: Your voice is awesome!
Thank you so very much, I really appreciate it🖤
Thank you for the few Vampire movies I missed.

i know its not vampire BUT GEORGE ROMARO DID SEASON OF THE WITCH 1970S YOU MIGHT LIKE IT
The only one I've seen is The Hunger. You could also maybe add, Daughters of Darkness (1971) & Nadja (1994).
Heard and watched all save for the reflecting skin, funnily enough.
