I was at that game too, City were no mugs that season and Forest were our most difficult opponent at Ashton Gate. Forest were just so quick in movement and in thought, not sure how Clough and Taylor managed to achieve that but they were at their peak around then.

Wasn't personal, this was number 7 of 42 unbeaten by Forest. For the remainder of that season and the first 16 of the following no-one could.
Also, thats a unique way of pronouncing Withe, very West Country.. Question to Tony Woodcock, were you upfront on your own? No i had Peter Withe!

I can remember us ever beating forest in the 1st division. Was our bogey side I think
