Awesome job guys - I’ve been subbed from the iPad install in the legacy to present and it’s still and always will be my favourite channel!
I think the average viewer IS aware of this. They are excellent. They are actually too good. It'd be better to put out lower quality, but more regular build vids and I don't think the viewers would be particularly offended by that. MCM have fallen into a strange funk by setting a huge standard for themselves by making hypercinematic stuff that often glosses over a lot of minutia that people actually like watching, yet they themselves love watching their compatriots across the pond, making a car with more brackets than a bracket factory. The best vids they have probably aren't the cinematic masterpieces.. it's stuff like wrestling with an MR2 for a while that is more interesting. TH-cam is really more about watching people do stuff. The issue with these particular vids is that even though it might seem less "selling out" to weave the sponsor into the narrative of the whole video, you might end up with something that is an unholy mashup. I like Call of Duty. I like what MCM do. Mixing them doesn't produce something that is as good as the two parts. I would have zero issue with them talking for even 5 minutes about a sponsor, I know a few people would - but I can skip that. I can't skip through a video that is laced with gimmicky nonsense like typing in cheat codes to enable shit, so that they can mention the sponsor without feeling their skin crawl (understandable). All the viewer really wants is them to turn the key, give it some and see them laughing and enjoying it. I feel bad even criticising this shit because they go good. I'm just saying, maybe this was a bit of an air swing. I'll still watch.
I'm happy to see you guys are going to put some more work in to it, from the last videos i was worried it would just be a unfinished car for a sponsorship sold right after the sponsorship is over and i'm happy to be proven wrong, looking forward to the upcoming episodes!
Exactly what I was afraid of, too, as soon as they mentioned the sponsorship. I kind of figured it was a sponsored build with how quickly the build episodes came out. I'm glad to hear it has a future with MCM

We all do but emissions and safety regulations have really screwed up cars in general. But for the price of new BMWs you could do a full restore on the older cars especially if you put your own time in and keep the good old cars around.
@@Vlku272 You are completely wrong with the first point. Emissions regulations do reduce the amount of horsepower that cars can make slightly, but engine technology since the late 80's has improved faster, so modern engines make more power. If you compare apples to apples, the most powerful North American Corolla in 1989 made 115 horsepower. The 2020 corolla makes 169 horsepower with only a .4 litre increase in engine size. Its also hard to beat a modern automatic transmission in terms of acceleration and smoothness. Safety regulations don't hurt cars at all, other than the need for the designers to work around pedestrian safety. I love the e30, but the original 2.5L engine only made 168 horsepower, and the automatic transmission was completely shit. I plan on swapping mine to manual if I can find the time for this exact reason. It isn't safety or environmental regulations that hurt modern cars the most, it's the fact that people today have less money relative to the price of a car so there is less market for "fun" cars in the price range that the e30s occupied. Plenty of fun modern cars are still being made regardless, you and I just can't afford most of them.

E30 is one of the best looking bmw ever and with all of that mods makes me speechless. Ones again mcm nailed it!!
No they did not. LS swaps are inappropriate for BMW's, no matter what anyone says.
I had a 325i touring from 89 when I was in my 20’s
0-100k in 7.5 or something like that but it felt way faster. These cars are so much fun and the handling is epically good. (Just don’t change lanes in the lightest of snow no matter how slow your going or your gonna be sideways backwards or anyways)
Wish I’d never got rid of mine now (or my mint Peugeot 205 GTI) as there worth fortunes these days.
This is a totally different build to what u guys do but I’ve loved this one
Well done guys, love the channel, u guys deserve everything you have achieved 🤘😎😎😎
Try typing “Let’s Play Global Thermonuclear War”
I was thinking the same thing
Greetings professor.
How about a nice game of chess?
@@STUCASHX Unfortunately he died in 2011
Pimp My Ride: "Yo we heard you like Call of Duty"
To be fair to MCM, pimp my ride never made anything this nice. They just stuck ps2s in your trunk and called it a day
Go away
One of the best or maybe even the best ad collaboration I’ve ever seen, didn’t skip neither one second. Great job boys!
up, up, down, down, left, right, left right, B, A Start.... missing that classic code, very sad face.
Or godmode...
What kind of a cheat code is "full send"??
I was legit expecting this to be one of them when they mentioned "cheat codes"
The problem with that is they're using command line, so they'd have to type all that in.
Noclip would be a good one for going through walls in a get away.
Street Fighter 2 arcade code!!
it's like I'm watching a mashup of M.A.S.K, knight rider, and other 80's cheese
yeah I thinking the same
As soon as Moog is in the car bouncing of the limiter and frenzied donuts... love it
I love how normal car channels would take months for this build but for MCM it took what felt like a week. Aussie Magic I tell you.
benefit of having support to get it done, we did the whole car in a week or less.
@@mightycarmods y’all deserve it! Can’t wait for the next feature film after the pandemic.
Haha yep I was thinking of poor 'ol Binky as I was watching and thinking the same thing
@@kirkc9643 binky is literally all custom tho it's nuts
@@kirkc9643 MCM would never be able to produce the engineering skills shown that they do. I mean they built a whole car basically
This has been a long advertisement
@Pete Mason Done right lmao
@ if that's your right, I'd hate to see your wrong.
A black car going through a tunnel with lights is absolutely gorgeous.
Do we have a full song download for the rock/metal tune?
Also, this car is EPIC. Great vid, earned that sponsorship and more!!
The song is called - Tiny little pieces - by internal combustion on apple music and Spotify

We're good at youtube
Awesome intro! The video quality and music is over the top!
Posted 39 seconds ago - I caught this fast!
Greetings from Portugal!
I love that “ Murdered Out “ look !
Loving you guys and your series following you from the start. Content always spot on never a dull vid. Keep it up guys !!!
Next video, "We sold the BMW" 😂
Nup, it'll be around long term, don't worry,
never been so early :P MCM on a Saturday cant get any better !!
Well done boys. Top shelf as usual. The editing was perfection.
The very beginning we get a Vangelis sounding track, followed by synthwave audio and visuals.
Hrrrrnnnnngggggggg......
4:00 intense walk with a bag of kebabs
Damn straight E30!
Love the show and content but the film production matched with music is so many levels above Yootoobe it's ridiculous, Australia should be proud of the content it's producing.
I was always a little confused if this was Marty's car to compete with the lotus or just a build for the sponsor. Either way it's mint
You were always confused at that? We only just found out it was sponsored build.
@@mmavcanuck I mean we found out a couple videos ago. But usually you can tell when they're sponsor builds because they release videos really quickly. Just interested to see which car Marty chooses because it's my favourite part of mcm. But who knows, I'm just happy to see the Sydney boys having fun
@@mmavcanuck build was happening anyway, appreciate the confusion on this mid way through a series, but the start of it wasn't sponsored.
i really hope its not going to race the lotus.... will get smoked lol
Sponsorship by Big Mods *for me* ruins the whole idea of MCM. You need to go back to your roots.
Crazy tunnel shots reminds me of the movie drive!!!!! Love it
"Focus on vehicles like never before"
Ive already beaten the campaign and you dont drive a single car in it. You ride passenger a few times but thats it lol
