Love how Thai BLs have begun to show more culture, scenery and the everyday life of its people, with stories set in day-to-day settings. Of course I understand there is a certain degree of exaggeration/simplification in dramas, but I really appreciate it.
Haha me. I ltierally was asking my BL-Colleague why they don't show us more of Temple going or use Buddhistic or Thailand lore as inspirations (sure they did wo us knowing here and there, I suppose). Now, for example couplde days ago I read that in "Thailand culture it is IMPOLITE to ask a Teacher in school if you didn't understand something in the subject they taught." Now my (spoilt) Western European Brain is like a) Is that true ? a.1) Or is it kinda going away with more influence and orientation on western socities and education systems and if so ohye lol

I am in love with P'Aof's direction. The slow paced scenes on the alley, background music,the yellow and dark nostalgic light with EarthMix's undeniable chemistry: everything is so perfect.

The way he took care of a complete stranger and took him to his place .not him walking into the wrong bedroom. The confusion on the li mings face was hilarious 😂 😃
Best opener to a series I've ever watched. I fell in love within the first 6 minutes. The mood, the lighting, the scenery, the pacing, the set up, and of course, the chemistry between EarthMix 🥺 I adored the whole thing from start to end, was only sad it's so short 🙏

Not sure if you need recommendations or have already binged everything EarthMix lol, but I just wanted to say their first two shows: A Tale of a 1000 Stars and Cupid's Last Wish were already wonderful in plot, acting, chemistry, everything, so they are definitely worth watching. But I feel like Moonlight Chicken is definitely their best and most mature work and this whole show is simply stunning

The main plot is actually about crime, fighting social injustice, corruption, a group of guys engaged in extreme activism. It's a really great show that just happens to have gay characters. One of the supporting actors is First who plays Alan in Moonlight Chicken. It's free to watch on gmmtv youtube channel

After watching this show twice, I have to say it is one of the best shows ever, not just among bl series but of any show. It is definitely worth a watch. It is about love, life, moving on, taking risks, hardships and building walls to protect yourself. There are no villains, just people trying to live their life as best as they can, trying to heal or open their hearts, being part of a community, taking care of one another. The showcan be so dreamy at times, yet it's so realistic, I really love it. Amazing!
This is why GMMTV is leading amongst all other networks that produce Thai BL shows while also remarkably managing to reach audiences internationally. They don't just pair up random good-looking dudes and put in some random plot and call it a day. GMMTV carefully chooses different engaging plots, well-written scripts, and chemistry among actors all while having intense efforts in producing world-class cinematography paired up with the best sound effects they could muster. Hands down, this is why, in my 4 years of watching different genre of BLs across sites, I always keep coming back to GMMTV.
Side Note: EarthMix never disappoints with their undying chemistry and undeniable acting skills. Kudos to them and the whole crew behind Moonlight Chicken!

Your Nose can look slimmer and longer if you lost weight and the other way around if you gain. Not me feeling all happy to finally see my baby Fourth in another series. I started this one late since I am a nursing student and my duty is stopping me from watching, but now that I had finished it all I can finally get to see this masterpiece. Earth and Mix never disappoint as always. Excited to see First and Khaotung here and my babies Gem and Fourth.
Just a glance at Earth and Mix, we can feel this rare chemistry not every couple has. Very calm and mature.

It was love at first sight for Mix's character. I love the way this series is shot and edited. Specially the color grading it gives of that dreamy vibe. The whole scene when they were walking was so beautiful. The way soft light was hitting there faces. They gentle touchs , the eye contact. Huhhh i am already in love.

When Jim woke Wen up and they both gazed at one another, it felt like I'm re-watching an old love story. A timeless romance. Different, but hits such a familiar tone. P'Aof is going to hit this one out of the park, I'm sure of it 💯

amazed by how earthmix act and their chemistry.. like almost half of their scenes are scenes without dialog, but they deliver their chemistry, the mood, they communicate with their eyes and their body language only.. idk maybe its bcs their amazing skill of act or its just their real chemistry alr overflowed the series or its the combination of both.

Earth as Jim and Mix as Wen are so perfect! The sexual tension on those stares and hand brushes. And the love scene is actually so beautiful, emotional, and artistically satisfying. It is not over done ✅

I kept coming back to watch all episodes while waiting for new ones to release. I’m in awe with the cinematography, spectacular casts, electrifying chemistry between the actors, beautiful music soundtracks and EarthMix! So much love for this series right from the first few minutes into ep1 ❤
Ahhh… what a great introduction to a series, what perfect direction, splendid scenery and cinematography, the music, the vibes, it felt like I was truly getting a glimpse of Thai people and minor culture details. I have been single and celibate and living like a hermit for 6 years, but this 20 minutes made me feel like I should visit, I thought to myself: maybe I should travel more? Maybe I should learn a new language? Maybe it’s okay to fall in love or like? Just from the first 20 minutes of the series I started rethinking my life choices! IT WAS SO DAMN GOOD! Maybe it’s because I like the simple things in life and this first part was so wholesome! Wow! Just wow!
At last. I've been waiting for this since last year.. The chemistry between Mix and Earth is really undeniably strong . You can see it even in the first Episode.❤️
I have to talk about the cinematography, the music used, the characters, dialogues, chemistry, lights everything cause this is giving me ultimate satisfaction. I am already in love with this series

i'm really impressed with how this was beautifully shot so far, from the long take at the beginning to the little cuts of life in the thai-chinese community. (i wonder how many times they had to shoot the first scene because it felt flawless!!)

Earth-Mix ...did a phenomenal job in portraying Jim-Wen ...fine actor's they are. No doubt they are choosen for this role. I mean just look at the way bring the characters to life..to the point that we feel Jim-Wen exist.
It's Always EarthMix ,that I have seen them trying variety of roles ..each n every role is different from their previous one..which also helps them in enhancing their acting skills.. Kudos to the team..n all the actor's...this series was much awaited one... can't describe how Happy I am..have been waiting to see EarthMix acting in alot of series..with variety of roles..Much Love to them. Mix expressions are always perfect! from lover boy to tough guy, this man knows how to act! The aesthetic of this series is impeccable, beautifully portraying the human side of normal people.
Jim is a hardworking man that even makes money thinking about his nephew Li Ming, as he is the one in charge of his tuition 2:53 and you can tell he works hard every single day 3:25, so having a beer was not the only reward of that day, that’s why meeting Wen was something new and not the routine he’s used to follow. I love how they met for the first time, but you could feel there was something else happening 4:59, they both liked each other on the spot and what I love about this is how you could feel the want from both 9:54, especially from Wen 8:46 9:36 10:44, since Jim held himself back a little more. Wen was even bold with him 10:55. There were even stares that didn’t have to go for this long 12:13, you just don’t meet a person and stare at them for too long 12:46, but their chemistry was overflowing not in an overwhelming way, but it was there, and they also understood one another 13:38, then the want became more palpable 13:50, both were enthralled 14:12 and at this point the want started being unbearable, but it was not the right moment, yet. It was here were it was hard to resist, were the want was painfully evident 20:04 20:10, so they both stopped playing pretend and let go, doing what they wanted to do hours earlier 20:44 and I loved how Wen was mostly in charge of this happening, how he wanted Jim and showed it to him 20:55 21:06 21:12, so Jim couldn’t hold himself back anymore, even becoming desperate 21:20. Wen kept on showing his desire 21:26 21:30 21:36 21:43 and Jim reacted to it even more 21:51, desperate again 22:02, but you can see some instances where Jim showed he is a good lover, like when he kissed Wen’s hand 21:39 and when he kissed his forehead 21:51 and I think Wen hasn’t been loved like that, because this was more than one night stand for sure, this was two bodies wanting one another and being well satisfied and seeing Wen participating is very telling of how hungry he was for a night like this, for a lover like Jim, because he really liked it 22:18. The NC scene was really good and I have to give it to Mix. His character was the one in charge of it, mostly, since he was seducing Jim and Mix is a natural, so I’m glad we can see EarthMix like this 💕

The lighting, the settings, the props in the background, the music, the acting, the chemistry, the earnest outlook on loss, grief and love is superb. There was not a single scene from this series that wasn't on point and executed immaculately. Thank you for this masterpiece. It's the one to savor again and feel the pain of living

This one is going to be a benchmark like A Tale of 1000 Stars. Earth Mix have the best chemistry in GMMTV at this moment along with First and Khaotung. They have brought on the heavy weight actors for this one. I have clicked on the like button even before the episode starts. The cinematography....just look at the color saturation in the scenes when they are roaming in the street. All I have to say is thank you, GMMTV.
I just love this great team of actors! All 6 of them are doing a great job and I love the more relaxed and yet more intense story line for Earth and Mix and they're killing it! Already in love with this series.
