The picture behind you of James Dean and ELVIS PRESLEY were the two icons who made the difference for the youth in the 50's and they had a profounding effect on their lives and they still do, it is amazing! But Elvis Presley was especially overwhelming because he was the first entertainer loved by boys and girls. Back to the 50's music was big and very important for the youth, they went with their pocket money to a club or a bar and went to the jukebox, now before Elvis the girls choose a male singer like Frank Sinatra or Johnny Ray and the boys chose Doris Day or Patsy Cline, they were also popular in that time, but then came Elvis Presley and he brought boys and girls together in their choice for music, there was absolutely no hesitation for Elvis stuff. Believe me Elvis was unbelievable, he was revolution, he changed our way of listening to music and had a profounding effect on our lives, culturally, emotionally, socially, and he was amazing generous. Btw that piano player in this song is Floyd Cramer and the guitar player is Hank Garland.
True trend setters for sure. I really should listen to some of franks songs to be honest, ive heard so much about him but never bothered to sit down and listen to anything hes sung 😅
There's hope for you yet about them fast songs. Ray Walker bass singer from The Jordanaires you heard in the background. Double banger again and again.
SEPH, A genuine reaction from you...and to the good! As the future draws nearer, you'll discover a more self-assured ELVIS...and maybe even live in concert renditions.
This might be an interesting tidbit to Brits.....The song RETURN TO SENDER has a sax player leading the vibe. That sax player is Boots Randolph......HE PLAYED THE THEME FOR THE BENNY HILL SHOW.....

Piano might have been Floyd Krammer. Thanks for reacting.
Floyd Cramer on piano I believe,
The deep sound you're referring to is the bass singer singing NO NO NO NO NO
I love this and he was still singing it in concerts in the 70's. 🎸🎶❤️
