elvis did mean woman blues in his movie "loving you" hard headed women is the "samson told delilah" song you're thinking about :) thanks rory :) (thanks kev)
That is an awesome version. Elvis On Tour is right up there with one of the best music docos ever made. The man was in great shape, great voice, and his band were kicking arse. The other song you're thinking of is "Hard Headed Woman". I'm really digging your Elvis reactions man. Freaking awesome.
Yeah, Elvis was taking 1950s music and totally changing it again to a late 60s early 70s vibe. You could had Elvis at Woodstock, singing a song like that with some longer guitar solos and longer piano solos and Jimi Hendrix would’ve jumped in because he loved Elvis.
LOVE ❤ I also love watching everyone on stage. They are having so much fun and smiling!! So much respect and love for each other. Please react to Without Love or Ill Hold you in my Heart.
As. Above...from the movie KING CREOLE. ELVIS SUNG MEAN WOMAN BLUES for the film LOVING YOU...6 or so years before Roy Orbison recorded it...Good job he did to. KEV
A really fun Elvis performance, I think for him, the band, and the audience. I love this one!! Hard Headed Woman was from King Creole, Mean Woman Blues was from Loving You ( before Roy covered it years later). Thanks Rory!!❤❤❤
I see others have come to your rescue with HHW but Mean Woman Blues from Loving You 1957 will knock your socks off Rory assuming you wear them lol Was the 3rd track possibly A Fool Such As I or One Night.?
A great reaction!!! This link is the wildest version of "Polk Salad Annie" th-cam.com/video/iWdZhkPk8dY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=pLqSXyfA8Ww3icUy Thanx so much for all reactions 🙏🤙
Hard headed woman, "soft hearted man been the cause of trouble ever since the world began. Thanks Rory you do pretty good with his over 700 songs. I wish you could do " Without Love". (There is Nothing) he sings his guts out. Be Blessed.
prob was hard headed woman and mean woman blues - roy orbison covered it years later, and showed just how good elvis was at singing all kinds of music. roy was great but not as a rock'n roll singer

At 1:24 Elvis mistakenly says "Play it James." He meant "Play it Glen." That's Glen Hardin, the piano player
Big hunk is the best elvis song from 1950s-he sang in the 70s
