Just how accurate and faithful this is to the anime (especially visuals that seem impossible to adapt to llve action) gives me hope for future anime/manga adaptations to live action.

heck this is so much more than "faithful to the source material", this is proper PROPER filmmaking. the many strawhats was to factor in the distortions of wide angle lens (or compression of tighter lens) that's crazy filmmaking to me. that is "if realistic angle breaks the illusions, then we engineer the crap out of it" level of commitment.
i think if they didnt make it like this all one piece fans nationwide will comment nasty thing about it

well kids bellow 13 wont be able to watch without a parent or guardian watching with them due to the language and the brief timing of showing some nudity other than that it would fall under a PG-13 rating in movie standards but on netflix it falls under tv14 meaning meant more for teens and up

I've never seen the Manga cartoons. I know I don't have this right, but I am 64 years old, LOL. I am really enjoying this show. It has great humor and love along with action, and drama.
Luffy's name is pronounce (Lou-Fi) not (Luh-Fi) but other than that i enjoyed the 8 episodes that they have on netflix and i myself am amazed the the manga creator made the live action happen with his input on each and every question asked of him

Most people aren’t big one piece fans I suppose , but if you’re making a video about it , hearing the main characters name pronounced wrong over and over does make me question the vid entirely lol, I loved the show though, best adaptation I think they could have done , of course nothing will ever compare to the original. ✌️

One Piece should really look into recording its outside scenes in a studio set similar to the one the Mandalorian was filmed in called The Volume and use the technology called Stagecraft created by Industrial Light and Magic. I feel One Piece would be one of the series that would benefit the most with this type of set that would allow them to be in the vast variety scenarios of the manga without being at the mercy of the climate.
Seriously, One Piece is THE series that this type of technology was made for, and I have no idea why the production company haven't looked into it yet.
Time and time again Hollywood tries to mess with creations/stories and it always fails.
The lesson is stick to the details and the spirit of the source material and you won’t go wrong. Netflix’s One Piece is great testament to that. I hope Hollywood realises this when making future adaptations.
