Just discovered your channel and spent the morning binge watching. So much Great content. Thanks
Awesome, thank you!
Mine arrived severl days ago. Came just as your did, excelt i onky received one test piece of wood.. 10 minutes to put it together and another 5 minutes to download and install the firmware updates that came out in November. This my first Laser, but i have good bit of experience with CNC machines. It does an awesome job. The Tulips looked just like a 3 D image with some shading that lookedime color.
Thank you for such a wonderfully done Laser review. Looks as if would make a wonderful addition to just about any woodworking shop. Everyone stay safe, happy 😀 and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia
:) Thanks Norm
Like your videos. You took the time to show settings & results. My falcon2 didn’t come with the beer can engraver or the grid plate it did come with plate but no honey cone plate. I was lucky mine came with two pieces of bass wood. Not sure what country dot TO is but over here that link is for a 22 watt laser.
Thank you, Skyler.
You are very welcome
Thank you as this is a brilliant and well informed intro to the Creality Falcon 2. I love your projects and your workshop looks great but worry about the trip-hazard cables on the floor!
Im with you that workshop needs a good tidy up, welcome to the laser review channel 😵💫
Thank you. Yes, I will work on cables management
Great Job!
Have you tried engraving ABS material?
By any chance. Do you know how to disable Fire alarm completely. I'm working outside and every time sun comes out Fire alarm triggered and it stopes working. It creates a lot of hassle for me. Please, help
I just bought a 40w Falcon and I am hoping you could help me with the settings for cutting and engraving. I need to know speed and power setting for different thickness and materials. Please can you point me in the right direction?😊
The wood looks black where the laser cut the for the examples shown. Is that a permanent burn mark that has to be sanded off?
Looks like a great machine! Do you have a recommendation for a better enclosure?
I kind of like the one from xtool because is hard sided but dont know if will fit creality machine
A very informative video..Thank you. When you refer to speed and power you say 70 speed and 70% power. The speed seems very slow? Do you mean 700 or maybe even 7000?
No, I mean 70. It depends on what you have your settings set as. mm per sec or mm per minute
Got you..Thanks. I'm set to mm/min@@woodworkingwithSkyler
Hi Skyler, will this laser give similar results for the 3D tulip engravings you showed in other recent videos? I am worried the 254 DPI resolution will not be good enough to achieve the results i am after as the files on Etsy say they are 300 DPI. Thanks for all your videos, I have found them very informative.
It should be very similar. But I will have to tell you when it comes to engraving I do prefer the Xtool lasers machines.
Will you be doing a review onthe 40w Creality when you get it? I like the idea of cutting wood up to 3/4 inch.
Yes, of course. Unless is no good, then I won’t review it:) I am sure is going to be awesome
@woodworkingwithSkyler great. Looking forward to thorough review. Good job.
Are you set at inches or mm?
I know you said in a video that you planned on keeping the Longer as your go to laser but now that you tried the Creality laser do you still feel the same. Another question are you using millimeters in all your laser settings. Thanks for an informative video.
:) decided to keep creality. Also spoke with longer and creality and they going to send me the 40W. I use inches but sometimes mm
My question is, can the laser be upgraded at a later time ? And thank you for what you do.
Yes. Available in 22W and 40W interchangeable modules
Coupon code does not work
In your opinion witch laser is better. Longer B1 20w or the Falcon 2 20w
Falcon 22W for sure, without a doubt
Thank you for your input.

Everyone misses the biggest negative about this laser. You cannot remove the shroud at the bottom of the module. This effectively renders the machine useless for engraving anything that has hardware attached to it that is higher than the focus height, like watchbands for instance.
As I know, it' absolutely not recommended to use LED lasers with 100% intensity. Am I right?
I use mine at 100% all the time
