Yeah I think it was stupid for that woman to use Craigslist for maternity wear. If she lives in the US, she could of gone to Consignment stores that also sell baby clothes, Ross/Marshall/TJ Max or even Walmart.
Just to throw in my 5 cents, because i am going through similar life situation to give a different perspective. It's not completely stupid to buy stuff (pregnant or not) off craigslist. I just had a baby, and being a neat person I have maternity clothes, snoogle and all the stuff in nearly perfect condition that I trying to get rid off dirt cheap (like 20% of what i bought for max). The thing is not to give your address, I don't even give my real name, and meet on neutral territory full of people, like I always offer to meet by nearby Montessori school with cameras and security step away so BOTH of us can feel safe. If they want to meet at my or their house, fuck outta here, and never reply.
Mid 2000s we got internet safety education in high school. We knew exactly how to go about meeting anyone from online, how to spot catfishes keep our webcams safe all that stuff. Seems like our class doesn’t get taught nearly enough.
I've sold on craigslist a few times and always made them meet me in walmart parking lot during the day, I've never had problems. I wouldn't go to anybodys house or give them my address
Common sense people would know what to do to be safe, and real people would know where is the best place to meet. Those people like these stories are just stupidd.
Lazy, whenever someone rings my doorbell, I always peek out my front office window through its curtains and look to the porch. Then I can tell if I want to answer the door or not. During the night, I keep my porch light on, but my office dark. If anyone rings the doorbell late at night, I can quietly walk to my office couch, sit, and peek out. I can see them, but they can't see me. Luckily, the only time anyone ever rang at 3 AM was the police during October, asking about my blinking strobe porch light, which was setup as a Halloween effect.
I had what turned out to be Mormons at my door at 11 at night. Needless to say they didn't stay long when a dude with a gun in his hands wearing silkies answered the door.

If these Craigslists stories are actually real (I'm highly skeptical of them) why the bloody heck would anyone agree to meet someone at their houses or their own? unless it's some big forniture like a couch in which case I would take several guy friends with me. And if the direction leads to some shady out of nowhere place and the house looks dirty and abandoned? why the hell get out? why not tell yourself "hell I'm not risking my life for some furniture or babies clothes or whatever" and just drive away??? Is it really that difficult to process?

What I like most about your videos is that you don't only entertain us with the spookyness, but also educate us how to be careful with certain people all around the world. I see you have a lot of teenage and rather young viewers. And me being one of them, I'll admit that I really don't have any good knowledge about people, bad ones in particular. Craigslist is full of shady people. I still remember this time I went to go check out a house to rent. This old guy greeted me and then said to follow him to the place. We were at the house he advertised, but he said that one wasn't for rent. I followed him to some shitty looking house and he seemed to be offended that I wouldn't check it out. There were other people there and it just felt weird so I left. It was not what he advertised and definitely not worth what he wanted. It may not have been anything bad, but I didn't trust him. I stopped using Craigslist after that. I used it three times and all three times ended awkwardly.
Then you see a doppelganger of Eva Braun outside your door and you would put your gun down then you would try to seduce the doppelganger of Eva Braun. I show black guys pictures of Eva Braun and ask the black guys if they would travel to the year 1940 to meet Eva Braun and the common black guys says yes to that idea even thou hot Eva Braun was Hitler wife.
Whenever I hear CraigsList horror stories on TH-cam, I always get the disturbing feeling that these people are still out there, anywhere on the internet. Chilling... Please do more in the future to come!

these stories really make my heart beat and cause me to have ghost bumps.. this is the hardest I have had listeing to a story. I keep having to pause now and then to calm down.
If I lived out in the boonies and was going to meet a seller down in the hollow somewhere deep and isolated, I'd be certain to come strapped. I'd have my .45 pressed against my back and my buddy would surely have anything comparable or larger than a 9mm at the very LEAST. Preferably we'd both come with .45s. No matter how big they may be, no hillybilly will chase you after seeing their friend's face explode and disappear from their head.

So in the last story they say theres a pane of glass in the door so they dont want to walk past, but also say that they didnt know who was on the other side of the door until they opened it. They also say the doorbell isnt audible to the boyfriend in the basement but then that boyfriend hears her talking to someone from roughly the same distance the doorbell would ring from.... seems fishy
1) I would have turned back if I saw a house that looked abandoned and decrepit. 2) I would have checked the sex offender registry after to see if that old man's address was listed with his picture and name. Regardless if his address was listed in the registry or not I would have warned people living on my street who have children. 3) Nobody picks up furniture at 11 PM at night on any day especially on a weeknight and even in a big city . That should have been the first clue.
1st story - every time I hear a story like this is makes me so glad to have my concealed carry permit. I take my gun with me everywhere its legal to (almost everywhere). Nobody is going to catch me slipping like that. No freaking way.

So in the last story they say theres a pane of glass in the door so they dont want to walk past, but also say that they didnt know who was on the other side of the door until they opened it. They also say the doorbell isnt audible to the boyfriend in the basement but then that boyfriend hears her talking to someone from roughly the same distance the doorbell would ring from.... seems fishy
1) I would have turned back if I saw a house that looked abandoned and decrepit. 2) I would have checked the sex offender registry after to see if that old man's address was listed with his picture and name. Regardless if his address was listed in the registry or not I would have warned people living on my street who have children. 3) Nobody picks up furniture at 11 PM at night on any day especially on a weeknight and even in a big city . That should have been the first clue.
Moral of the story, get a concealed carry permit and carry a handgun anytime you interact with craigslist people.

1st story - every time I hear a story like this is makes me so glad to have my concealed carry permit. I take my gun with me everywhere its legal to (almost everywhere). Nobody is going to catch me slipping like that. No freaking way.
