Well this was fun to see! Glad we have similar thoughts on the current state of the game, a lot of people dismissing a lot of good that's been done to D4 without actually playing for themselves properly.
Agree 100%. The issue is that the minority is the most vocal that gives the impression it’s the majority. And as you said, these haters don’t even play the game, and thus, do not have the ethos to adjudicate correctly the current state of the game.
"alot of good thats been done to D4....." lol... sorry. apologies. But all that good that was done to D4 was just fixing all that bad shit they launched the game with. I don't get the applause the team gets for making changes and putting new things in the game that should have been in on launch. We are suckers, paying to help them make their game. AAA companies should not operate like this. make a good game on launch plz. /slowclap
Yup, I stopped playing few hours into season 1. Came back to the game around 10 days ago and it's sooo much better. I'm blasting all the time, the game changed for the better a lot!
@@WinkDinkersonQQ To be completely fair, being terrible on launch isnt unique to the Diablo series. POE was horrible for the first two years, Last Epoch is currently garbage, D3 and D2 were abysmal on launch and same with Grim Dawn. If you didnt complain about those games having terrible releases then you're a hypocrite. That definitely blows, but you're acting D4 is a bad anomaly in this genre when it isnt, it just isnt. Is it good? Depends on what people are looking for. But the game RIGHT NOW is objectively better than when it launched, its literally not debatable. If you're still expecting games with a battle pass to be completed by the time they fully release then im sorry but you're just playing yourself at that point lol.
@@supersizesenpai You aren't dropping more money on a game you already own. You are dropping more money on added content. It's not the same price as the base game either and has nothing to do with the PS5 Pro. You take on this couldn't be more wrong.
D4 is a bit backwards. You want the best items to get to endgame and beat the bosses but only the bosses drops the best items. So you kill them without the best items, then Ubers drop…. Wow, I got the best items, just to realize there is nothing left to do. Then every season you need restart with a new character from scratch doing the exact same thing making your previous progress useless. sdrawkcaB
I know a lot of people personally( coworkers, family, friends) that play D4 and the only ones that’s say it’s boring out of those people only play one class
Oh boy, just wait for when the palladin class comes out. The huge wave of "is this diablo 4's last chance" content is going to break the internet in half
People seem to forget that sometimes it takes time for games to be good. D2 wasn’t highly thought of until the expansion. D3 drastically improved after the expansion. D4 has improved so much since launch and once again comes time for its expansion and is looking very positive….. lets just buff more builds (instead of nerfing the top 1 or 2), increase the difficulty in Torment 3 and 4, and tweak the drop rate on Ancestral. Personally they should be 750 ilvl like non ancestral, just comes with GA’s. Also limit the amount of mythics one can equip. Like 1-2 max.
maybe instead of a cap of mythic uniques have like super legendaries similar to uniques but not uniques that could be put on any item including other legendaries but not uniques or mythic uniques
No, what people have forgotten is that game companies used to have to compete with each other for our money by putting out the best game they could. Once people started demanding instant gratification and constant content, things went from gold to mediocre at best.
Absolutely. All this doomposting at every little lull is getting really frustrating and the devs don’t deserve that after all the work they put in improving the game
For me it is the last chance with POE2 on the horizon. I miss exploring dungeons and being excited what can be around the corner like it was with older iteration of Diablo. I don't enjoy the openworld feel of D4 either. Another painpoint for me is I use to be excited to find specific items due to how amazing they looked where now it seems the majority of good looking gear it behind another pay wall. Also id love to be able to zoom out like when you at the TOW. Thanks for all the coverage Rob2628 much appreciated.
Rob, reading the PTR 2.0, it sounds like the ONLY way to unlock Torment lvls, upgrade glyphs, unlock ancestral items, and possibly get master-working gear(?) is by mindlessly running the PIT. Is that true? Seems like that would/could be a huge barrier for casual/less skilled players and lock them out from a lot of content.
Exactly.....they overly complicated the "systems" and now people have to grind something other than gear. Feels like a bad direction to go with an arpg. Streamers seem to constantly push for the game to be harder and less accessible to casuals, so eventually the only ones left playing the game will be elitists and streamers....
people crying about expansion being too expensive, DIABLO 2 on release was 50~60 USD depending on where you are from, LOD expansion was 30~40 USD. D4 is a live service game where we get free content literally every 3 months, dont even need the battlepass to play the new season unlike many other live service games nowdays. I've had some of my friends who absolutely hated and ended up quitting D4 in season 1, they played season 5 and purchased the expansion right away, game is definitely heading towards to the right direction and worth the money.
Free content, aka testing the game while devs are trying to get their shit together. Also, will they spend next year to fix expansion, and then we will have 2nd expansion? neverending loop.
That’s exactly what I did. The game was great pre season and that first big season one patch killed it for me. Came back season 5 and have been having a BLAST. The itemization changes will have a rippling impact on the eternal realm that really leaves a sour taste in my mouth but no one seems to be bringing that up…
Diablo 2 released content every season and didn't release an expansion pack every year. The problem is the same people who are saying that Concord failed because competitors are f2p are the same people who are saying that d4 price structure is fine. It's not. The truth of matter is D4 is able to exist with its current price model because it's a blizzard game with a huge fan base and great marketing.
I bought the base game ultimate version for 100. The expansion ultimate version also cost 100. But the base game offers 5 regions and 5 classes while expansion has 1 region and 1 new class. How does that add up??? I play other live service ARPG games like Genshin Impact, Tower of Fantasy and The First Descendant. All are free to play and you only spend money to buy new characters or cosmetics or mounts. But you can grind in game for the currency to buy future characters or cosmetics and new map expansion and contents are free. In Diablo 4, you have to buy the base game/expansion which you dont own anyway and have pay for cooler looking cosmetics. Ya, thats why gamers who play other live service games are complaining.
Keep the misinformation to yourself. I played those games you have mentioned for years and D4 is way lot better with content than those gatcha games. I have C6 S5s characters but took me years to build with a game that doesnt have end game.😂😂😂
The expansion ultimate was 90 for me. It included something like 20 bucks worth of premium currency, which the base game ultimate did not have. So it is basically just 70 bucks if you get season passes or whatever. Which adds up to 30 bucks on top of the normal edition, exactly the same increase that the base game had. Why you are using ultimate edition prices when comparing to free to play live service games is beyond me though. If you wanted to get the full, uninhibited experience of playing Genshin Impact, you'd be paying at least 1000 bucks a year. The fucking game has a mobile game stamina system gating your daily progression.
For me, the ultimate expansion is roughly 136$ (120$ before tax). There is no way I would ever pay that, not to a company who continually launches unpolished/incomplete games.
Casuals get straight to the endgame because they ask for a carry for everything: carry for leveling, carry for NMD, carry for pit and carry for tormented bosses. They get to the endgame by the hand of a blaster without any effort and then go crying to the forums and Reddit saying ''the game is too easy and there is no content''. I mean, you just skipped 80% of the content being carried.
I think a new rotation with unique bosses would be cool that includes special tasks, and teamwork to beat them to get special mythics/uniques. Something more than just summoning a boss and bursting it to farm Ubers. As someone who quickly completed their first ever character build and has farmed a LOT of hordes and NMD, it quickly starts to feel repetitive
It's strange that only one content creator has mentioned that the changes to world tiers is extremely bad for group play. With profane mind cage you could play with friends that was lower level or had bad gear and set your difficulty. No we don't have 4 difficulties, but 8 and most us locked if you're not lvl 50 or 60. Rob can't do Duriel carries with his viewers unless they are lvl 60 and he carries them through the pits to get them to torment 4. Torment 4 has the best drop rate so no one want to farm ansestral mythic uniques in torment 1,2 or 3. Trading is also worse. And torment 4 was easier than world tier 4 as soon as you get some legendary glyphs with unnecessary and extremely powerful multipliers. The endgame will always be to easy as long as we have all these multipliers.
had fun for few seasons but got tired of grinding for gear (playing solo), and when finally finding a nice one, to have it fk by tempering. We have seasonal play - why make tempering a limited thing for each item just so it prolongs the end game? just let the players have fun with items for one season, since it resets anyways. most players make multiple characters anyways….
It's been the same thing since Diablo 2.... they make a half ready base game and then they make it complete with the expansion. Well, that's the expectation, we'll see if it happens again.
we need more selection of end game content. this will keep people not crazy about full on min maxing builds engaged and keep player base strong i think.
One thing I haven't heard covered concerning new season is the possibility of new bugs, crashing, freezing, etc. The game is basically getting a complete overhaul with all new code. Will it work smoothly?
D4 currently is a game that is fun every few seasons, personally, because you come back and see drastic improvements in the design. I say every few seasons for myself because it lacks variety in gameplay/class setups/end game variety to play the loop every season because every class and build pigeon holes into the same gear and skills. Hopefully eventually this builds into a completed, enjoyable system with enough variety that it draws players back more regularly.
I’m looking forward to everything that’s coming our way. Season 4 and 5 have gone a long way to ‘save’ the game. I’m a semi casual player that gets a couple of hours or so daily but I still managed to get 3 characters to 100, one of which is hardcore. I like the idea of reaching max level fast then pushing myself as I get better gear/power (I’m not that bothered about being the best) and the ability to reset a build and try again is very helpful. My only real gripe is that the rng seems biased against me. If I’m going for a fire sorc build, I seem to get good lightning build drops more often and that can be frustrating. Bring on the grind I say 😊
Season 4 was great, season 5 was maybe my shortest played season so far. I feel like hordes ruined it for me because I was done in a couple of days. Do a couple t7+ hordes and you are done with your build, full masterworks, with nothing else to do. I ended up completing a few more characters, but still was done with the season very quickly. Hope the horde rewards are tuned down in the future, but overall I am looking forward to the expansion and the new content.
I feel like D4 biggest issue is that it was rushed, if Blizzard took it's time to fully develop D4 it would probably be a huge success. I personally feel like D4 is WAY better than D3 in almost every aspect and I also feel like D4 has a lot of potential, something that D3 didn't have. The only thing that could "kill" D4 is POE2 but I don't think that POE2 will have that much of an impact.
Since Loot Reborn, the game is really good. I didnt play S5 because other game launches, but it seems S5 was even better. I wish they werent going down the path of re-skinning D3 systems to fit D4, but here we are. The fact is: D4 is fun now. Its not POE deep with build customization and crazy boss fights aside from lillith. But its also not as bloated as POE systems and visuals are. Its not being complex simply to be complex. I honestly think if the game continues in this direction that I'll enjoy it more than POE2. And this is from someone that was a hardcore POE andy from Tempest league up until about two years ago. Thousands of hours in poe...I just cant stand the game anymore.
Its definetly an indication to the fans of the game, what kind of content they can expect Blizzard to produce moving forward. If its not good.....people arent going to invest their time or money. I loved season 5. I really want it to be great.
It is my personal view that I'd rather have an online season-based game take risks and make big changes constantly to try and find paths that make the game more exciting. What we need to do as customers is not shit on it without constructive feedback or they will have closer and closer to zero appetite for risk. POE is so good because they take risks and correct mistakes. The more risks the devs of D4 have been willing to take, the better it has gotten. Let's encourage D4 to experiment.
the huge selling point Diablo has is the story, world, and lore. It can charge 40 dollars a year for a continuing story and lore, and unless they completely fuck it up, people will continue to follow and support that. Games like POE just don't have that Hollywood type quality of story and iconography that Diablo, despite all of its flaws, has absolutely nailed
I would love if they got some. Better writers for the story. Unless Neyrelle is supposed to be written as the biggest dumdum in history, then the writers are great.
Exactly right, tried POE and LE and wanted to like them, finished only LE because you don’t need a PhD to finish it compared to POE, but still felt all the time like having the experience of a B movie, if they don’t change that quality feeling on POE2 they won’t attract the mass players besides fan base.
Rob, now that they have a game on a good track, they just need to keep on truckin'. Chance for yearly expansion is better now. Lets remember they've spent lots of resources and time to fix all the issues.
If I own the expansion on Xbox, do I have to buy it again on PS5? Like will it just not let me select my spirit born class when I play on PS5 since it’s all linked to my blizzard account
Actually , I also have the same feeling of D4 is better than D3. It's sometimes tedious when the rare item cannot be obtained. Its just a bit Dark game and feel a bit Chaos, maybe?! Eventually, still expecting the development of the story, always be the fun game part of D4.
@@AllrightNOR Of course not, but I kinda feel like I'm paying a lot of money for 1 class, and if you have more classes since diablo 2 and they at the end are copiing almost all from diablo 2 (all the mythics items are from D2 tyrael might, andariel visaje, etc. and Mephisto is from D2 as well as many other things), at least do better and include more variety in the clases of Diablo 4 we are playing a game in 2024 that the first was created in 1996 Idk, if I was working there I will include a lot of new things... instead of that we are paying 40€ from 1 class and another chapter...
I have played quite a lot and personally I believe this game is rising and is in a good state, but they definitely need to add more end game content rather than one thing like e.i hordes. Hordes was fire but once you got maxed out end game was just done at that point. But I did make use of the season and made 2 barbs and a rogue. I think even the stat at which barb is sitting. I think it will still be fun to play around with the new runes and passives to play around with. Thanks for another awesome video rob. By far my one of fave TH-camrs to watch.
It would be great if it forces all players to replay the campaign and they add all the new content into the campaign and we have to go from there... I think if I get VoH, I will play the D4 campaign over again and hope that the VoH campaign is already intertwined with it, or at the very least it starts as soon as D4 campaign ends... Also, it would be really cool if we got to play part of the campaign as Neyrelle, that would be dope. Or play the campaign as multiple different characters...
I get people not wanting to pay for an expansion, although, you are getting more stuff to do, the amount of games I have paid £60 for and not gotten even close to 6months of fun out of is crazy. I feel like I have already gotten more than my £60 worth so paying for an expansion, for me personally, is fine.
I'll always buy and play all diablo games I can.. I know that even if I end up.just playing the campaign I'll get my money's worth and I get to see a cool story with awesome lore and sick ass blizz cutscenes
You can’t speak for everyone. I played Season 0, 1 and a little bit of 2 and. Couldn’t do it. Saying “it’s getting better just spend more money” seems scammy. I had Horrible experiences. Even if you had good ones. it’s not fair to just ignore my feedback and say it’s I’m exaggerating and complaining for nothing. This is why I stoped playing and interacting with videos.
How is $40 too much for a expansion? For a kid then yes but if grownups are complaining then go get a job and work cause you have bigger problems. People just complain to complain smh! S4 & S5 has been amazing and hopefully S6 expands on that and we can play through this till S7.
Yes, people turn their adult lifes into absurd complaining about game price, at the same time they spend multiplicative amounts on alcohol, cigarettes, stupid market placed products they will never use etc. Then they go to internets and complain about another product (result of smbs work) not being free
OG game was, what, $60 if you weren't a moron who overspent for cosmetics? The expansion costs $40 and brings a quarter of the content? There's a disconnect there. I mean, it should be affordable for most people, but let's not act like it's not overpriced.
@@jacob5700 Overpriced for who tho? To each their own lol it’s technically a new game with about 100+ hours of casual play time. That’s more than enough for my $40 that I’ll spend today on wings and beer at the bar lol. Find another hobby if it’s too expensive or play the OG which is still getting content. Stop complaining it’s annoying
Helltides are great. It seems to have a purpose and there are multiple enemy types and environments. Hordes seem like a lazy add on. Why does this exist? There is nothing to do other than survive, kill, and then go to the next room. Sure it is massive XP and does give you some good mats but the actual gameplay is to minimal to grind repetitively. Boss farming is similar, same thing over and over. There is an open world. There are regions and cities. They could fall and need to be recaptured. Bounties could come back and be meaningful for mats and XP. Achieving multiple objectives in a Helltide could reward you with mats, XP, and items. More variety and less single event grinding events.
I really looking forward to this new season and expansion. Dunno why people complain when they actually fixed the game. And imo it's just getting better. Last chance? .....just completly wrong. That's just an old meme now
a year d4 came out May 14th, 2024 and a expansion 5 months after release that's 7 months ahead for what then said ! its blizzard knows how much they are fucking up
I was able to start play only starting form season 4 as game finally become available in GFN. Before this I was playing D3 on my mac not because the game is bad, but because I was not able to launch it. VIelen danke fuer Video.
Im a long time PoE player, and recently Last Epoch enjoyer, and when Diablo 4 lounched I was reealy skeptical, I only knew the name but never played the games, so I bought the Deluxe Edition for 90$ and started playing it season 1... Initialy I liked it, but after a bit I was dissapointed from the lack of content and the buggs/bad mehanics... the D4 BAD meme was real even for me, but never stopped playing it, so after all the season I can say, I like it now, they have done a good job, lisening and trying to Improve the game, Season 5 was cool , but I bet Season 6 will be WILD, I love Path of Exile(and still play every season), I fell in love with Last Epoch , and I love Diablo 4 , This 3 games, have each something special, each had times were we could call them POE BAD, or LE BAD, or D4 BAD, but now, I bet they are all GREAT.
I just like to play by not getting all technical on the game and its future. I do not have a lot of time to play anyway. Dad gamer here thanks for the fun.
because the season changes the META so much it really depends. When the game first came out I mained a Rogue, then I switched to Sorc. Then I mained the Barb when Spin to win was a thing. Then I went back to Sorc. So to be honest, the main for me depends on which class has a fun META.
I feel like for a lot of people the only acceptable price is free. Not happening, just like you want to get paid at your work the employess at Blizzard don't work for free. And they put in a lot of work for the game to be good. And if you ask me 40 euros for something I'll be playing most likely ALL YEAR is a pretty good price.
I probably pass on dark Citadel content but definitely interested in everything else, I've been at Diablo for decades and always solo I don't have that sorta time to play with others once work is finished I play for a bit and go to bed, I've got no time to play with others, the misses yes, but thats that really, bit of a kick in the mummy daddy button but there's plenty of other stuff to keep me busy
I play D4 and have every season since launch and I dont think the game is bad per-say, just that its disapointing. So many missed opportunities to really make a great ARPG. Its fun up to the point where you get your character maxed with a couple Mythic uniques necessary for your build, then you run out of things to do. Once you have masterworked all gear, progression ends aside from dialing in, or min-maxing, your gear with 3 or 4 greater affix items, re-masterworking things. This is where the game slows to a halt and i run out of interest. END GAME ACTIVITIES PLEASE! Co-op is a start i guess, but none of my friends who bought D4 have any interest in playing D4, a game that has had to have major reworks not once, but multiple times. In their minds the game is broken beyond redemption, even though i sing its praises and beg them to come back.
With that logic of: "Somebody else does it and worse so it's ok for them to do it" the world will never advance... Let's be real, $40 is not super expensive expansion, question is only is this expansion enough to justify $40? To me it's not so that's why I won't buy it but if it is for you and you are having fun go ahead it's that easy
I just want Assasin come back. I want kick the Mefisto in his face. Or send a Sentry Trap on him, and do Shadow set even more Sentry traps. If they do some crazy mix Paladin with Crusader or Blood Kinght (Diablo Immortal thing) that will be no play.
General balance. Armory. Meaningful leveling. Morexendgane content. And last but not least, do something about single target damage. Most builds suck at killing bosses. Fix this shit and you have a perfect game
Dont hold your breath for pre rendered cinematics. Blizzard didnt even bother with one for the last expansion for starcraft2, so they have proved that their interest in investment is arbitrary at best
yeh thats weird indeed - some people spent most of their lifes with things they dont like one way or the other - instead of focusing on the things which make them happy. Its a choice guys
OW 1 -> OW 2... Diablo itself was the last chance for blizzard - a year later we're still trying to figure out what Diablo 4 is, other than a sandbox mmo arpg combat system with cosmetic shop. I'll let everyone cry for a few months before I consider buying anything "released" from blizzard.
But... those people saying how bad the game was at launch were right and people like Rob was wrong. AND the PTR we just has was terrible and so.... I think people saying the game state is terrible forces the dev team to work and fix things... AND people dont want the D3 lazyiness to mean people have to wait 5 years to get things fixed. The game HAS gotten way better...but was trash at launch.
Yearly content drop will cost some money. I play this game for few hundred hours every year and if I am asked to pay for 100 bucks for it then it is worth the money. I always compare this with entertainment value we get out of a movie which costs 20-30 bucks each for couple of hours of entertainment content.
Scrap the lilith statues please. I started D4 in s5 and i cant follow any buildguide until i go around searching for like 150 altars...Its not like you notice most of them when you are playing either... the other renown stuff i have no problem with. Except that its the most addictive game i have played for a long time. Except wow, quake and d2 i think its the only other game that has held me in this firm grip :)
I’ve played since game launch and I have only 25% of them. I asked my friend (that used a guide to get them all) to show me the ones that give paragon points/skillpoints, there’s only 4 of them iirc. Yes I miss ~50 all stats but that doesn’t make that much difference (which is weird, but whatever). You can still get enough renown from dungeons, strongholds and perhaps a few quests. I did a lot of quests but very few dungeons. Now I sometimes come across a statue and it feels like finding a secret, probably as they intended
I'm here to tell everyone that Diablo 4 is alive and well and Blizzards coffers are full of money from Diablo 4 sales, $1B dollars has this game sold for so far across all platforms. So whatever - people are buying it, and people are playing it. Although, admittedly S5 is pretty deserted now at this point.
D4 is fun and so is POE. Just different types. The tribalism on both sides is hilarious. That said, I do think the impending release of POE2 makes this expansion a bit more "high stakes" than previous D4 releases. Especially on console where D4 has had no (modern) competition up to this point. Hopefully all the ARPGs coming out just results more innovation and better games.
To me, this "expansion" is nothing more than a big patch, it brings almost nothing to the game other than number adjustments and a mechanic that is basically vampiric powers (runes) ... Paying $40 for that is exactly what makes this companies not give a F about what they do, since people keep gobbling their trash
@@seebbsss 100% Also, to OP. I agree. Personally, I think they would make more money and gain a lot more respect if they launched VoH with 2 new classes but only told us of 1... Nowadays there is no mystery in gaming, and they tell gamers everything about the game ahead of time... It completely ruins the sense of discovery in games, and it ends up affecting the longevity of the game. More people will play for a smaller amount of time, and less people will play for a longer amount of time. Gone are the days of mystery in games and self-discovery. Nowadays companies like Blizzard give access to content creators to advertise + generate hype for the game, as well as show off all the new items/classes/skills/mechanics/areas/bosses/etc etc. Why do people even need to play the game if they already know what to expect and have guides being published before launch or on day 1 of launch?
You know what, Grim Dawns crucible dlc which is basically a horde mode as well, costs extra money and needs to be bought separately, while we got it for free!
i think they already give life kiss to the game in season 4. game is good state now ( for the d3 player perspective. d2 players already departed for forever)
I have a feeling everything is going to feel nerfed and frustrating this new season. The game to me is the most fun it has ever been RIGHT NOW. I have very little faith but will of course give it a shot.
Every season they have proven themselves... that's enough of the last chance for diablo B.S. They continuesly improve and make the game better and better every time.....
If I have never witnessed season 2 I probably would have never gave diablo a chance again after season 3. That season was the worst 4 and 5 were amazing

It's strage but very cool to see two of my favorite creators over the years bump into each other.
Why do people act like expansions costing money is somehow a new thing?
I remember the halo days after each game came out or ever WoW expansion

internet bait - expansions costing money and a game having cosmetics is a new thing...EVERY YEAR lol.
It's not worth wondering about. People who can't understand don't have fully functioning brains and are extremely entitled.
@@supersizesenpaiFor WoW you pay a subscription to “own” the game every month and pay more for each expansion, is that better?
D4 is a bit backwards. You want the best items to get to endgame and beat the bosses but only the bosses drops the best items.
So you kill them without the best items, then Ubers drop…. Wow, I got the best items, just to realize there is nothing left to do.
Then every season you need restart with a new character from scratch doing the exact same thing making your previous progress useless.

I know a lot of people personally( coworkers, family, friends) that play D4 and the only ones that’s say it’s boring out of those people only play one class
Necro is the only class . Played all classes . Let me tell ya barb is trash. Rogue is laughable.
@@kennypowerz1267 I play every classes and finishes a week and a half before the new season… could be done sooner but I also play other games

The Hell cutscene is one of my favorite of all time. It's so badass. I wish it was longer and we got to see more of the battle of hell.
wasnt it said to be the "last chance" before each season started ? :D
Pretty much yea! 😂
Like 1-2 max.
maybe instead of a cap of mythic uniques have like super legendaries similar to uniques but not uniques that could be put on any item including other legendaries but not uniques or mythic uniques
improved since launch? why did it take 1 year to fix items? stop beijg such a donkey
No, what people have forgotten is that game companies used to have to compete with each other for our money by putting out the best game they could.
Once people started demanding instant gratification and constant content, things went from gold to mediocre at best.
Game was launched incomplete

Streamers seem to constantly push for the game to be harder and less accessible to casuals, so eventually the only ones left playing the game will be elitists and streamers....
people crying about expansion being too expensive,
DIABLO 2 on release was 50~60 USD depending on where you are from,
LOD expansion was 30~40 USD.
You hit the nail on the head... "they have nothing better to do". Looking forward to the new xpac!!
100 bucks for 15 months of fun... sounds pretty cheap to me compared to other hobbies.
@@flip6641you should try PoE…. 10x more content and it’s free….
Remember in Diablo 2 an expansion gave you multiple characters
Yep but why D4 just one, because they are going to make more than one expension. Next expension, the paladin 😮
It's the final, finale of the latest last chance of a # of chances that were determined by the barblords long ago. Can't wait until launch!
Don't play softcore then 👍
I think a new rotation with unique bosses would be cool that includes special tasks, and teamwork to beat them to get special mythics/uniques.
Do we need to replay the hole story again?
Need an option to right click material chest in hordes to spend all aether
Rob, if you dont know, everyone can comment anything. If its bad, you can tell its bad, its normal.
I played season 1 and got back in it at season 5 and its the only game where i dont mind the grind
Rob do you know how lucky you are. You spoke with the most important person in our generation.
I am on the fence about purchasing VoH, and instead, I would happily put that money towards PoE2, even if it is free.
@@PlantsAndInsects ok, so...?
season 5 is a good state of the game. they're destroying the whole game with all the changes again.
I hope they have a good idea for the expantion now and doesnt destroy everything they changed for the better.
I'm not going anywhere. but I've also never been one to judge a game based on the opinions of others.
Still crazy they put so much development into a coop mode considering they have the metrics showing that the vast majority of people play solo.
I agree with all things said..I played s1-s2 and regret buying the game and became dust. I returned in s5 and now I'm hooked to the bones
Been playing Diablo since the beginning , still play and will continue to do so
the huge selling point Diablo has is the story, world, and lore.
The game needs an endgame and matchmaking mode. The foundation is there and it's a good one but still needs work
If I own the expansion on Xbox, do I have to buy it again on PS5? Like will it just not let me select my spirit born class when I play on PS5 since it’s all linked to my blizzard account
Actually , I also have the same feeling of D4 is better than D3. It's sometimes tedious when the rare item cannot be obtained. Its just a bit Dark game and feel a bit Chaos, maybe?! Eventually, still expecting the development of the story, always be the fun game part of D4.
I still don't understard why we don't have the classes from diablo inmortal like my favourite blood Knight
Because it's not the same game. Should all games have the same classes?
Yeah, i think they should add the blood knight, hope they add him in future expansions or as a dlc.
Do we play the expansion as the Season 6 story or is there a story we play in eternal and then. s 6 story is seperate
I think they've broken through with the last 2 seasons it's just been better. Play the season for 2-3 weeks, quit, go back when next season starts.

The game is getting better and season 6 should be good. When it first came out it was boring. So they definitely went in the right direction
That's just an old meme now
I think the expansion will be sooner than a year apart. They said they are working hard to bring new content out quicker.
The best thing about Diablo 4 is Robs' accent. Das ist gut!

D4 is a massive win for blizzard why think people that it needs to be rescued? It’s a very profitable ARPG…
Community, If D4 originally came out with 6 classes, which one would you have used as main ?????
because the season changes the META so much it really depends.
Hope they continue to do more and more before poe2 comes out cause that's gone be its competition
The ones that complain so much are the ones that couldn't kill Lilith in the Campaign and never got to the endgame.
Ragegaming, Rob, and Perragaming. That’s it. That’s the list.
Hordes was a huge W. I hope they dice it to up.
rage gaming make great vids, love how much they post about sorcerer
Blizz will run out of last chance the day RageGamingVideos run out of best builds!
I think if you pay for something then you have the right feel how you want to feel and comment the way you want. But every game has it's up and downs.
Anyone complaining about d4 having a 40 dollar expansion when WoW has multiple paid expansions on top of a subscription service is being a hypocrite.
But it's not someone else, it's still blizzard.
Blizzard didnt even bother with one for the last expansion for starcraft2, so they have proved that their interest in investment is arbitrary at best
this gonna be great one Diablo franchise.
yeh thats weird indeed - some people spent most of their lifes with things they dont like one way or the other - instead of focusing on the things which make them happy. Its a choice guys
D4 is in a great place! i hope they don't take a step back with some of the changes. But if they do I fully expect them to fix it quickly.
The game has definitely changed for the better.
If they buff ancestral drops and remove the bs masterworking/tempering limitations on regular legendaries it’ll be awesome if not it’ll be a massive L
played d4 sense season 1 to 5 it hasn't got better its a new version as d3 is my opinion .. still fun to play spit nerfs and all the bugs and dcs
One new class is very little. We should get 2 new classes
100%
To me, this "expansion" is nothing more than a big patch, it brings almost nothing to the game other than number adjustments and a mechanic that is basically vampiric powers (runes) ... Paying $40 for that is exactly what makes this companies not give a F about what they do, since people keep gobbling their trash
@@seebbsss 100%
Also, to OP.
They want to bleed the players pockets first next expansion lets hope there's two new.
I miss the golden era of no microtransactions and incredible games.
Overrated era
