Thank you for this refreshingly plain review! Really liked the practical comments about the sailing performance and how to work winches. I would love to see you having an in- depth look at the interior, with the same no-nonsense attitude! 👍👍👍
I didn’t spend enough time om bord to make an in-depth review at the interior. But I noticed that the joinery was good, very good to be #1, a lot better than on Moody 41 DS tested last year, from the same yard. You have new styling, but you can still smell it’s a Hanse. I don’t know why, but they all smell the same. Hanse has always had a good gally, on this, it’s different. I prefer a L-shape gally, but here you have a lot of different solutions, from 3 to 5 cabins. For the first time, now you can have a chart table, or «work at home office«. Chart tables suddenly make sense. The styling was a little dark for my taste, but you have a lot of choses, an argument to buy this boat. I liked the 4 hatches over the saloon, but why not have clear class instead of tinted like Hallberg-Rassy, and it will make a bigger effect. But I am a guy who don’t like tinted window, neither on my car. I live in Norway where we want all the sun we can get.
Iv delivered a few Hanses & totally agree the self tacker is to small fr good sailing in anything under 15 Knots & in lower speeds hopeless hence the bigger foresails , Pity they couldnt move the mast back for a bigger for triangle BUT the 2 cabin is perfect & yes the quality has improved .
Very good review. No bs, straight forward, with integrity and experience. Probably the best short-reviev on the net. All the best👍
