  • I drove hybrid Honda Jazz Crosstar thru centre of Prague. If you will use cabin heating, EV mode is not so often, but when you deactivate is, EV mode is as much as you have energy in the batteries.

    In a sane world, this car would've be the world's top seller. It's just the perfect car for average people's needs. Comfy, reliable, both compact and with a perfectly sized trunk.

    Thanks for the video, Did you try to discover where the weird/rattle sound came from? Something in the door pockets or an adjustment failure?

    • @DrivingCars

      You think for example 2:24 or 2:28? I am changing "D" to "B" and back on the gearbox. Or do you think another sound? Could you please post the time?

    Trip reset would be nice but according to my calculates your trip had 2.5-2.7 average consumption. Is that correct?

    I noticed that you manage the heating control.Is this to reduce the demand for energy from the battery?

    apparently you drive in normal mode which might be more beneficial to charge the battery in certain situations? the car works nice. According to my maths more or less you did half trip ev mode

  • @AlexandruHasegan
    @AlexandruHasegan 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Why did you used B mode all the time? As I know this should be use only when the car is going downhill, for regeneration, otherwise D mode .
    You can use Brake hold function when stopping at lights.🙂

    • @DrivingCars

      because of the "one" pedal drive.

    Amazing how much of the time it is driving as an EV :-O I tried to listen but it is impossible to tell if the engine is on or off. How is it in the car?

    • @DrivingCars
      @DrivingCars  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It is in EV mode really often, but only with AC/heating off. You can see it in video.
      And yes, the engine is so quiet and there are no vibrations when it turns on or off. Good car.

    Why do you drive in B on your gearbox? I thought it is only for driving downhill used as engine brake to recuperate energy. .

    • @DrivingCars
      @DrivingCars  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      no, it's "brake" mode, when the car recuperates more.

    Im thinking buy this one, because in UK there lot of in stock, while my first choice toyota yaris cross waiting time like half year. I love honda and as I see here, its amazing fuel economy. Since I driving in city like 95% it fit perfectly, esp that slow ACC.
    But whats stops me, thats design.. ew... my 2016 honda jazz looks way better. Why Honda design suddenly roll back to like 2000-2005? Damn...

      beauty is in the eye of the beholder! We have a 2014 RS spec Jazz, been a fantastic car as have the two previous generations we've owned, but the new 4th gen Jazz is a HUGE step forward in design and tech, less pretentious in design, far better interior and incredible tech in terms of efficiency and safety. We pick our Luxe model up next month, Meteoroid Grey metalic, tan interior.
