This is a wonderful car, ❤️ Low fuel consumption, beautiful and smooth driving, giving a nice driving experiences. I put fuel once per month and its enough for almost 950km. I will recommend this car to anyone who think about economy, environment and beautiness.
Well done Dan. Great detail on both video’s of this Jazz. I was happy with you talking through it to describe your experience, though you were very kind on some aspects of the car (noise under hard acceleration and smooth suspension? Honda will love you!). If you do another one could you demonstrate the B setting (regenerative braking) and the adaptive cruise control which follows speed of the car in front. Altogether you’ve made one of the best videos on this car.
Hi Dan. The main advantage of hybrid systems is manifested when driving in the city and with frequent slowdowns. The track is not their strong point. For correct fuel consumption, it would be nice to combine traffic in the city or on secondary roads with the highway. It is interesting to see how fuel consumption changes under different driving conditions. The video is great!!!
@@erkmenerken2518 I love driving my Crosstar - its a very relaxing. Visibility, comfort, controls layout, practicality, entertainment system- all excellent. I’m getting around 75-80 mpg around town (London). No regrets at all.

@@SDADanCars I have watched your video several times and it is wonderful. I wanted to mention the eCVT system, it doesn't have a gearbox, the variation of sound when accelerating, let's call it "easteregg" from the Japanese programmers, they have programmed the car to emulate a gearbox by varying the engine revolutions. However, it does have a clutch that connects the motion of the combustion engine to the wheels when moving at high and constant speed. When you accelerate hard, that clutch disengages and the combustion engine produces electricity to drive the car with the electric motor. At very high speed it is more efficient to produce electricity than to move the car with the clutch engaged. I hope this serves as a note of clarification. I love hybrid technologies. @@SDADanCars sorry, I should've been clearer. I recently bought a Jazz Crosstar and didn't understaned the locking functions. I read up about them today and now know that the remote has to be present for car to be opened either way☺ Apologies for any confusion & thank you for your video. You taught me a lot!
Toyota has an epicycloid couplings between Ic engine and electric motor, that's why you feel a little judder whenever it starts. Honda e-cvt has just an electric motor attached to the wheels, driven by the electricity from the battery or the engine when you need it, that's why you can't feel anything when the engine starts to push the car. The torque is generated only by electric motor, so you have 250Nm at 0 km/h. The engine starts and generate power to feed the e-motor. No CVT, they call it CVT because the feeling of thrust of a CVT is similar to that of an e- motor. Tried both, Honda system is simpler and a lot better
How does this compare to VW Polo or VW 7 Golf ? Here in Asia, the price of the Jazz hybrid and the Polo 1.5tsi is almost the same. In the past, japanese cars do not ride well and have poor sound insulation compared to German cars. I am considering a golf 7 tsi 1.4 and this car. Which would u rather own?
You shold get the jazz. The ride quality is at the same level and the car is in general much more comfortable because you can only hear the engine when you accelerate hard. I really woudn't get anything with a tsi, you have to be very lucky if you get past 100.000km with one of them, while a honda will go 400.000km + without a problem.
@@andicol6012 VWs have a bad rep here in asia for poor reliability but i was also thinking there could be some biasness. I am abit surprise to see that you share the same view, given there are tons of skoda taxis in europe hence it gave me the impression they are in general reliable.
Just got my Jazz today, it is an amazing little car.
Yes it is cool 👍

Love this test drive. Very reassuring.... I’d read negative reports of the Honda lane assist ... picking up my Crosstar next week 😊
Thanks Felix for feedback. In my opinion lane assist was working very good 👍🙂
how is it?

I tried it on highway, the lane assist is perfect from what i've seen also the acc. What are it's issues ?
Superb review !! Too much screens for me XD. Keep it up man !!

Cool 👍The car is perfect for city Paolo 👌
Excellent review - thanks! Getting my Crosstar in two weeks. Chose it because of the sound system although the Executive would have been cheaper.
Great choice Ray 👌

Is the Crosstar still available in CH? It appears to have been withdrawn from the Italian market.
Are they easy to steal, with having a start button and the touch to open/close function on the drivers side door handle?
Not sure 🤔

Hi love your review what car would you say has the best hybrid system the jazz or yaris thanks
Kevin I think both have good systems....Toyota have more experience but I think Honda also did a great job with the system...👍
@@SDADanCars hi thanks for replying I'm going to have a tough decision 👍
Between Honda Jazz and Ford Puna St line X, what will you recommend? Thank you in advance.
I will go with Honda Jazz 👍🙂Both are great cars but for me Jazz will make more sense

Hello :) Nice car. How about comparing the New Yaris ? Is the JAZZ less noisy on highway ?
I feel like both are well made....not sure to tell you exactly the difference in noise 🤔...but they seems to do pretty good both

Dear sda Dan, I have said it before, please review the Vw Up! GTI in 3 door form. If you do it I will subscribe. Please review it. Thank you
Yes I didn't forget I have it on my list 👍
This car has no transmission at all. And yes, Toyota uses e-CVT, Honda Jazz has nothing to do with that.
👍
Can you make videos without talking? I would like to hear only the car and you're always talking.... :)
I think you can also make theese type of videos explaining how the car feels, but can you also make videos without talking, like ASMR?
Sure 👍👍
I love mine but I couldn't say its quiet it's the noisiest car I've owned
