To remember the career that she has lead since the 90s in New Orleans brings me joy and sadness at the same time in that I won't be able to watch her anymore on WWL. Every step of her journey in New Orleans television has made her a legend in South Louisiana.
I met her in the 90's right after she came to NOLA, she was a weekend reporter. A plane had a wheels up landing at Lakefront Airport. I was at a Civil Air Patrol training and I was out there when it happened. As a young guy, she was very pretty. But she has defied time and looks as good today, with so much more wisdom and experience. Some not expected, but she has come out great on the other side. Hope this takes off for her and those working to make it happen.
