Yeah, it doesn't help thats for sure. Im likely gonna build my own custom reverse bucket to help get past that plate. Thanks for watching, subscribe if you havent already, im putting out videos weekly.
I spent a lot of time on the motor mounts. I wanted to use all of the factory mounts. I ended up making my own intake ring, and raising the intake to get the motor off of the bottom of the hull. Just found out that my reverse bucket throws water up and down. I don't have my deck on yet, so it threw water into the boat. I would like to get a better one. I put the factory siphon in the boat, but also want to add a bilge for emergencies. I put a car battery in it to have lots of reserve. I knew I didn't want the foot throttle, and my controls are all electronic. My steering wheel looks strange with all the wire looms. The 2016 Yamaha has a finger reverse lever that does both the bucket and throttle in one. I kinda like that. I'm not putting on the wind screen that came with the boat kit. I want to be able to easily climb over the deck. I like the window style with the center hinged section. I went bench for more room, and hinged the seat to tilt forward. Will have storage under the seat, as I just used two beams going all the way across. You can order a bench seat by the inch to fit your width.
Holy, it sounds like youve done a ton of work! I dont like the foit throttle, id rather have one leaver that controls the throttle and reverse bucket, would be way handier! Thanks for watching!
Yeah. I realy want to try that thing. Looks like a lot of fun.
They are alot of fun, it will run in 3 or 4 inches of water!
@@FabbinAdventures looking forward to a few nice videos of it.
Won't the trim/protection plate under the jet output block reverse thrust...in effect cancelling your reverse...?
