    Name Rakaposhi:

    The peak was first summited on June 2, 1958, by a British-Pakistani team led by the climber Mike Banks. The ascent is noted for its technical difficulty and the climbers' perseverance.

    Weather and Seasons:
    The best time to undertake this trek is between late spring (May) and early autumn (October) when the weather is relatively stable. Winters are harsh and not suitable for trekking.
