Aussie man raw dogs American corporation caught in 4k upscaled with DLSS and Frame Gen enabled.

Wait so you're telling me that a 30% improve raw hardware wise, for less money then the previous generation is a disappointment because we've hit a ceiling in the tech industry that wasn't so high 10 or so years ago? That DLSS4 is bad because it isn't 100 percent perfect with smaller details despite generating more fps for a more smooth looking gameplay?

Hey man! Love the comment, and appreciate you having a watch!
The video focuses on the GPU without DLSS4. DLSS4 is inevitably good, but its not 100% as of yet, and with AI we are a few years off that probably being a thing right- Because its constantly needing to learn and is still a very fresh concept.
Youre right, A ceiling has been hit until it hasnt, because there will be a new series again and again.
Remember however, The 40% increase was between a 4090 and a 5090- Not a 4090 and a 5070, and when looking at the 5070 webpage, youll find the stats at this point in time is actually a 5090 demo, not a 5070- Theyve not released those stats for the 5070 yet make the claim it will have the same performance but less of the price.
For me the same performance starts at the Hardware, not the DLSS level, I would want my GPU hardware to compete with the addition of DLSS4, not relying on it to beat last generation especially when not everything allows for DLSS at this point.
Hopefully this clears your questions and concerns and again i appreciate the comment heaps and love the discussion! 😁

In the end, the real problem is not nvidia or their gpus, its the damn frkn game devs with their degeneration of developer skills.

I don't understand why they can't just add more RT and Cuda cores? like you're dedicated space on the PCB that could be used for raw rasterization, maybe its not that simple but I don't like where things are going

but you can run 4k 480hz with 5000 series and rx 7000 and 9000 series

when 2000 series came out, i know tech is not there yet, i said back then, i will wait and see what will 4-5000 series offer. i think i will wait another 3-4 generations, and see what they will offer. this what nvidia is doing now is on border with fraud. i will keep my 1080ti's.

Look tbh, theyre pretty good cards- the claims might not be 100% true but AI is the way of the future, we can see that in our everyday lives. Even in gaming, Aim trainers are now using AI to tell us the best sense to use on specific games.
For me this video was just about the Raw hardware performance increase, like the good old days of the GTX cards.. Shame that its not still like that with generative AI ontop as a bonus lol

    • @Zfast4y0u
      @Zfast4y0u 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

@@JustJoeyJoseph problem with this is, nvidia can nice tune how card will perform in exact 1 FPS. they could have done simmilar things before RTX trough drivers and game optimisations, however this is on whole another level, there is no more way for us to determain true performance of the card. it will be like chip tuning on a car, hack it to make it past 250kmh, where it was locked before. manipulations that they will use in future will be even worse, and we will be buying cats in a bag

Really, you're going to cherry pick the 1080 TI as the bar for how much of a performance uplift we should expect each generation? 30-40% is a respectable performance uplift for a flagship card, as someone going from a 3090 to a 5090 this generation I have no problem with it. Unless you're the type that likes to resell their GPU every generation there's little point in replacing your GPU every cycle for gaming if you're buying flagship cards.
There's nothing wrong with waiting for a generation with a big performance uplift if you want the absolute best bang for your buck, the 1080 Ti and 4090 were both massive improvements, but you'll probably end up having to wait 6 years or so for each new GPU you purchase if you only accept cards with around a 70% performance uplift. I'm doubtful we'll even get more than 1 more generation with that kind of raw rasterization improvement anyways, we're definitely delving into the point of diminishing returns going forward from the N2 node that will likely be used starting with the 6000 series. CFET transistors are looking interesting but manufacturing cost is going to start getting in the way of generational improvements pretty quickly in all likelihood.

Hey! Love the comment! Point of the video is exactly- Waiting for a big performance uplift for absolute bang for buck without DLSS being a primary factor, although the path the development is going- DLSS and Frame Generation is the future. Me personally- I'll be purchasing a 50 series card purely because i am sitting at that 3080 mark now and like to skip a generation or two usually. Would I buy if i had a 4090 which is the main comparison probably not, but i mention this towards the end anyways. A ceiling is being hit, until it's not anymore.

Super irritating to see people with no knowledge of gpu architecture or generative AI try to analyze these high end cards. TLDR; there is a market for each 5000 card and they are superior across the board from the 4000 series at a similar or reduced price.

Hey mate, Appreciate the comment however I am aware of generative AI and I am Aware of Architecture. Hence why if you make it to the end which I assume you havent I did mention there are improvements made to the GPU itself.
The point to make here, Is that the card is mainly Generative AI to enhance the performance using software. And clearly from this comment youve confirmed the point of my video too lol
