We had Francine not too long ago, of course we were originally in the bullseye of the center, but thankfully it decided to go more eastward, hitting marshy areas, and smaller towns east of us. Somehow south central Louisiana continues to be spared from the big ones, like a dome is over us or something. Love living in the south, we pretty much accept doom can happen anytime from June to November. But hey, we've been through many, the entire Gulf coast.
Yeah man, I remember you telling me about barely missing that storm, but definitely glad you did. It's crazy, but I think people who live outside of this region, probably don't realize how often these things hit us; especially Florida and Louisiana feels like, usually by the time it gets as far north as Atlanta, it's not terrible, but it can be, I did have a tree crush my car, absolutely total it, I had parked outside the garage one night years ago during one of these storms, which could have been even worse, because it almost hit the house. Yeah, that's so wild man, it's great that you guys are avoiding a huge storm, because in Lafayette, you're far enough south to be in a fairly heavy hurricane zone. Have you ever had to evacuate? Over here, it's never been something to that level that I can recall, but it's the trees here since we are the city in the trees, as they say, and a couple big hurricanes that became tropical storms have done some damage, so many trees here, that's usually where the trouble is, falling on power lines, houses, cars, etc.
Ghost of Tsushima is excellent mate.....you're in for a treat 👍 My and two of my brothers are seeing Pantera for the first time next February.....really excited. Was that a cheeky bottle of Newcy Brown in the intro😂😂
Yeah mate, looking forward to finally playing it! Have had it several weeks and have yet to play it, lol. Nice! Yeah, it's so cool that they are touring at their age with this new iteration of the band, I'm sure your brothers will have a blast! Haha, yeah, I brought back a couple of super old intros, and thought, I'll bring those back since I have a pickups video, and try to make it somewhat entertaining, lol. The first one is the intro to an old Toy Machine skate board video, where I just edited it and inserted my channel name into it, and gave it a scanline look, hah, and then that sonic intro I made, yeah, made both of those in 2014, those were always fun to make. I remember that shot with the Newcastle, lol. Love how it came out, I saw Mark from CGR start a video by opening a refrigerator with the camera inside it, and grabbing a beer, so many years ago, and I thought it was a cool idea and shot 🤣
@@DadLadsGaming I think I've missed a video or two of yours, I have backlog of videos to watch actually, seen several youtubers from awhile back posting lately which is cool, just been so darn busy as of late. Have you been keeping up with the early match days in the prem? Seriously think Pep is going to get that 5th title in a row for the citizens. Can't believe that's possible, but as you know, with oil money....lol, anything in football becomes possible, which is quite a shame.
@@CRTcade I used to love football but I can't watch it nowadays.....I still follow Middlesbrough, my local team (my dad at 80 is still a season ticket holder). I've got no interest in the Premiership at all I'm afraid 😭
@@DadLadsGaming Jesus mate, I missed your comment only by a few days...haha, my apologies. Oh yeah, I know, we've talked about that for years, and you know I loved that borough team with Gaizka in the prem. Fans in Spain and Italy, have their local teams, you know for example, Lecce, Valladolid, Rayo Vallacano (ugh, fuck those left wing madrid socialists, lol) etc. and then they also root for Juve and puta mandril, as their "winning" team haha, so I'm glad to know you are true and don't engage in that type of plasticity!
