Thanks for this, I backed the special edition wanting to try a “bigger” solo game and very pleased to hear that the solo allows you to play the real game. I agree that is important. We have lots of puzzles to play and puzzle through with other good games.
Way back Wednesday, in the early 90's, a publisher called MB (DACH division) had a very unique approach to special edition. They sold an "empty edition" of a game. Somehow they managed to forget to put the game materials into the box and nobody realized it till the boxes hit the shelves. This was shortly before Christmas. 🎉
@@BoardgamesforOne No problem. Always looking good. Also a comment on the content of the video, this requires a much bigger discussion. Lots of nuances but my opinion is that it's a capitalist market. Meaning the more money a business can make, that's the decision they'll take. I agree that I wish it was more accessible to people since its an expensive hobby but if publishers can make money and there's no stopping hobbyists from buying it, why stop? Lots to talk about here but good food for thought video :)
Mike, a boardgamer and a fashion model? ❤❤❤
@@TheOmyn ha! I’m both too short and too tall for that. But I’ll have my fun here.
Now I just want to see the video on Robinson Crusoe. This was a great trailer for it. 😂

@@LaurenB-k6k Thank you. I’m thinking you’ll be pleased with it.
I love the Deluxe Editions. They make a great Game complete.
I feel like Rococo is a great example of that. You have a favorite?
@ The Castkes of Burgundy, Wonderlands War. Are my two Favorits

@@jonvega3736 thank you! Yeah I think I need a publisher on to really get a rounded perspective. And possibly several points to branch off on.
