When they remodel these stores, it throws me all off. The store was perfectly fine like it was!
I once asked a ShopRite worker whose idea it was to change the store's layout. I was all in my feelings about it and had quite the attitude, until he said it was his idea. Imagine my shame, shock and surprise, smh.

@@yahainHotPink stores always change up the layout to keep the customers from getting used to it. The store wants us to stay in longer and longer searching for what we want, and by doing that, we'll come across something else and possibly buy it, or at least put it in the cart.

I normally do the grocery shopping, but my husband went with me the other day, and we basically just went down every aisle quietly complaining about the prices to each other. I’m with mama - if we don’t have a coupon or it’s not on sale, don’t put it in the cart!! And also, quit moving stuff around. I want to get in and out of there as quickly as possible. Moving things around doesn’t get me to buy more stuff - it just puts me in a bad mood! 🤨😒🤣

The purpose of moving things around is in hopes the customer will purchase more by seeing other items available. Marketing trick 😅

Yes indeedy. I soak up my time with older people since all my grands are gone. My teenager tells me I’m starting to sound like an old Southern grandma. So hopefully I can carry on the tradition one day. I find myself repeating my grandma and great-grandma’s manners and slang. 😂

You have to properly prepare to go shopping with my mother. It’s a whole day thing. Every time. Even if we are just going for a couple things, somehow we are out for, at least, 6 hours. Went with my mother today to get some crackers, juice, cake mix, strawberries, and oatmeal. Came and got her around 11:30am. Didn’t drop her back off until almost 6pm. And it was mostly because we had to go to several stores before she found strawberries she liked. 😂
