My Take on Making Backgrounds with String!

I may still sound a little sick in this video! But that doesn't keep us away from cardmaking!
Update: I mentioned I think Tsukineko makes Tombow products - I knew it was a product I used often (other than Memento) - they also make VersaFine, they are not affiliated with Tombow.
This video was inspired by ‪@bdk_creations‬ recent video on using twine to make backgrounds. I had some fails, but I love my win and will use this technique more often in my card making! I won't say it's the fastest way EVER but it is pretty quick!

This reminds me of when I would take upholstery thread and spray it with hairspray to sit over night, then use false lashes glue to adhere then to my cheeks. I would often dress like a cat for Halloween when I worked in the service industry 😅

If the string was covered in metallic pigment ink, I’m sure it made quite the mess
