Did you know that this station was expected by the locals to get an elevator during its renovation? The problem is that the MTA stated that it was too expensive and adding an elevator would’ve damaged the station’s structural integrity. I’m still outraged though, since the MTA is required by law to install elevators in renovated stations, no matter the cost, although this was before that statement was officially made.
