Dude. He's speaking in jest. When you consider probably more than 50 on advertising and then theater cut. Everyone forgets about theater cuts. You can Google all that stuff if you desire. I just started the video. So maybe you're taking umbridge with something super specific. Point is. There's more to it than just advertising. My family runs an independent theater. What I've done all my life. There's alot more happening than just advertising.
As I understand it, the general rule is that a movie needs to make 3 times it's budget in order to be considered a success/profitable. So a movie that cost 62 million needs to bring in 186 million to do well. 128 million is barely more than 2 times the cost, so it wasn't a success.
