    I had the Shark ionflex 2x duo clean. Bought little over $300 4 years ago with 3 year warranty. It's been great but now battery doesn't hold much and it heats up in just 5 mins of use. Its time for a change. Contemplating on getting jet90 or ion flex 2x again.

    So just a tip the soft roller heads are for hard floors. It's not really to prevent scratching, it's just the best tool to use in general for hard floors, that alone makes a huge difference over standard cleaner heads.

    This is one of a better review out there. The best part you have replied to almost all the queries in the comment section. That's brilliant. How much time the battery lives actually?

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. So for battery life, it really is going to depend on your vacuum settings and style (low, medium, or high). I typically vacuum my whole house (about 1,600 SF) on medium and only hit the high for my thicker rugs and it is pretty low by the time I am done after 45ish mins. According to Samsung it can last 1 hour when using the low setting, but I find that setting only works great for hard surfaces like tile or wood floors. If you leave it on high the whole time it lasts for about 15mins from what I can tell. If you have a larger house compared to myself I would recommend getting the stand with an extra battery. I however have been fine with just the one battery. Hope that helps.

    Hello, question re: filter(s). Does it have a foam filter like the Shark brand ones? Because if so, small particles of hair (from hair cuts on the floor) would stick to the foam filter and near impossible to remove. How many filters does it have to remove and for washing?

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know what the Shark has, but the Jet 90 washable filter is like a fabric type filter...they call it a micro filter. I have a cat and dog and don't have issues with hair getting stuck in it. In addition to the washable filter they have a HEPA filter in the top, but I have never replaced that. They show pictures of the filters on Samsung's website. Hope that helps

    what r the mop pads for, is their wet cleaning as well ?

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Samsung sells a mop head attachment that can do the light mopping. Basically, you fill the mop head with water only and it keeps the spinning mop pads wet while you clean the floor. It does not suck up the water, so this is a damp cleaning system like a Swiffer pad. After you have used them you throw the mop pads in the washing machine to clean them again. Hope that helps.

      My LEDs stay on all the time and never turn off when it is fully charged. I have had the vacuum for a while now and the battery still works great, so I would say the manual is just incorrect. Would you say it's better than Dyson cordless vacuums?

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I don't think I could truly compare to current Dyson cordless vacuums because I have not physically test them...only looked online before making my choice. I did replace my old Dyson upright vacuum with this Samsung vacuum and I like the Samsung better than my Grandma's Dyson cordless...but that is several years old. My Samsung has a better battery life and better suction vs hers, but once again it is old so the battery is not a good and that affects the suction (not really fare to compare them). Dyson is a great brand though, so I think you would be happy with either. What made me switch was Samsung Canister setup, more accessories and options, and the cleaning station (but that is extra). Those are the items that made me choose Samsung over the over getting the Dyson V11.
